At my friend's wedding this past Friday I was able to exchange info with another stamper. I sent her the links to one of our chat threads and to Becky's gathering (she might be in the Buffalo area around that time).
Her name is Marianne but I can't remember her SCS name (she only had single digit post numbers).
Does anyone near me have the sentiment stamp: "Every snowflake brings to mind how special you are - you're one of a kind!" ?? I heard that it might be in a SU! set. Name of the set?? Please and thank you!

Somehow I knew you would come through for me, TeeGeeDee! Thanks so much! I made a card last Fall at the Syracuse gathering and have been wanting that stamp ever since. Now I know what to hunt down!
I googled the first few words of the saying and "SU" and clicked on one or two links that looked "promising" then checked for an index card in the SCS gallery.
ETA: I'm glad Nancy (and probably Gayla) have it. I'm sure borrowing is being worked out already.
Just finished using my Curvy Rectangle Nestie to cut out 110 labels for wedding favors for work! Fortunately I could cut 2 at once! This means my Nesties and Big Shot are tax deductions for work...correct???
hey-i have this set also.
didn't put the sentiment w/ the title of the set.
but more than likely-if it has a snowman or 2 i own it:p:p
YEAH! Another one that maybe I can borrow? I knew you or Nancy said it was a SU! set so I had to put the question out there to get a definite answer! Of course, I had to check eBay and there is one set up for bid if all else fails! I have LOTS of snowflake stamps (so I don't have to have duplicates on one card naturally) so I need the saying to go with the snowflake stamps! :-D I have even considered having a stamp made of the sentiment through work but didn't like my fonts as much as the original font. One less thing on my list now that I know two people have the stamp!

I just left her work and she WAS working... well, sort of ... LOL
Are you talking about me?? I WAS hard at work...finishing up with a customer when Nancy came in, I think! Today was picking up paper, creating a wedding program, place cards, and table number cards, finishing up with several resume customers, answer phones, waiting on customers, creating a birthday invitation in PhotoShop, etc., etc. Busy but not grueling.
Tonight we found out that DH's intestine re-sectioning surgery is schedule for Monday, August 3 at St. Luke's Hospital in Utica. He will be in the hospital for 3-4 days. Once he's out of the hospital it will be up to him when he returns to work but he probably should stay home several weeks. Recovery time is about 6 weeks until he can resume all normal activities. Hopefully this surgery will take care of all his diverticulitis problems for a very long time! He has had recurring bouts every few weeks since last November.
We met Dr. Blom, the surgeon, last week and we like him. He did not seem to be in a rush and answered all of our questions.
Hope you guys had a great day. I was looking at a card scenting site (you may all already be all over this), which I hadn't seen before. It is: http://www.scentmycards.com/index.htm
Is anyone interested in a group buy. I have about $20 worth, myself and the shipping is free at $45. I'll post on the other thread, too.
it's summer we've been busy. Even DH noticed I hadn't stamped in a while.
We had a great 80th BD party for Dad last weekend. Peeps in from Tucson, DC, Tenn, NC, SD, Florida, and Ireland. About 100 people in all.
Then Thurs which was my day off had to take Bailey (10 yo puppy) to Cornell for surgery to remove tumor from very personal area down under. DD is picking her up now. I'm working now, can't you tell? ;^)

Glad dad's party was great. Hope all is well with Bailey. Glad you can check in from work.
