Tilly, when Linda's clear envelopes are in (maybe tomorrow) would you please take those to her, too, when you pick up your tape? I can drop them off to you.

Thanks for permission, Gayla! The DeNami paper with the 15% off coupon is calling my name...

arlenevita 06-01-2009 12:10 PM

I took myself to Symeon's for a very late lunch today. DH continues to have tummy issues and can't eat so he didn't want to go. LOVE the gyro platter!

I can't wait to start stamping with all of my finds - I think my favorite is from the Stampsmith - it is a plate of 16 babies making the best faces! http://stampsmith.net/oohbaby.htm

I totally loved the ATC you did for Syracuse. Now I know we must have the same taste! I bought most of my stamps at Lost Coast, Stampsmith, and Stamp Camp. And they will all be at the Heirloom show next weekend in Springfield, MA.

I need to find some vintage ATC swaps quick (like I have time!) so I can use my stamps!

Thanks ... we'll have to meet soon (have you followed the thread about the Pawling store? I kinda invited anyone that wants to meet us to join us ... I figured you had so much fun meeting new stampers at Binghampton that you'd like meeting new stampers closer to home).

I'll read it if you tell me where it is... :)

$12.96

lindylou1220 06-01-2009 02:52 PM

Is it $10 that I owe you, Arlene?

Hopefully I will be seeing Gayla sometime before the 13th. Does that help at all?

Did you check if Heirloom is having any contests? They usually have a themed one for ATCs.

Hi Anna,

How are you (besides busy)? I'm busy too because we listed and sold our house in about 10 days and expect a closing date shortly after the last Friday of June (that is when we sign a lease and pick up keys for our 2BR. 2 BA apartment in a beautiful complex if great amenities). Most likely will all be "official" by mid-July so we are packing, trashing, and storing tons of stuff.

Yes ... it is only 12 minutes from my house. Plus she is only open on Wed, Fri and Sat and her stock is probably not much different from what you likely see at the stamp stores you visit regularly (our choices are Michael's, AC Moore, Jo-Ann's and the store in Pawling so her stock was a nice change of scenery from the same-old, same-old at the chain stores.)

"Ben & Jerry" and I are looking at the birthday present Hanna Stamps sent me! Riley stamps and some Hannas! Oooopps..."Ben & Jerry" are gone now!;)
Birthday ice cream (S'mores flavor was on sale and I hadn't tried it before...tastey!) instead of cake. Thanks for your wishes, Ladies!

musesmom 06-01-2009 06:14 PM

mmm...Ben and Jerry used to be very good friends of mine...Just me, my spoon and them...

TeeGeeDee 06-01-2009 06:46 PM

Our favorite ice cream is Klondike Triple Chocolate bars (squares) but we also really, really like Bailey's by Ben & Jerry (at least I think they make it). My personal favorite flavor is strawberry but there are so many yummy flavors available that I rarely have strawberry so I had a scoop tonight (we went to a Chines Buffet for dinner - my FIL is staying at his daughter's house - a miracle! - and will not be home until Wed afternoon.)

My throat is sore from coughing (seeing the dr tomorrow afternoon) so I will make some hot tea as soon as I log off (but part of me wants to eat one of the Raspberry Chillers - by Dole? - in the freezer).

Klondikes are yummy...haven't had that flavor...yet. Chillers should be good for your throat...followed by tea...feel better ASAP!! Coughing always seems to be the last cold part that leaves me...weeks after the cold is gone. Is it dust from packing and cleaning that's bothering you?

I did tell Tony that I was allergic to a clean house but I think it is seasonal allergies (although when I was tested years ago - the first year I had symptoms - the tests all came back that I had no allergies.) I don't feel pressure like when it's a sinus problem and my eyes are watery/itchy which also doesn't happen with my sinus issues. But the symptoms started before we did any major cleaning so it is probably pollen and not Pledge.

Now I am going to have some tea and save the chiller/tea for a morning treat.

Off to bed and if I sleep late I might not be online before my dr's appointment.

njbaker 06-04-2009 05:03 PM

We'll be coming by tomorrow after work ... unless you are going somewhere?
