With so much filling our day I can tell you for certain that there would be no time to go to the Expo on Saturday but, of course, Sunday is an option. I know they won't stay open late for us no matter how nicely I ask. LOL

P.S. Arlene, thanks for finding this. Apparently they figured out from last year that Memorial weekend was not a good weekend for a stamp show. (No kidding!)

This might be date for the Buffalo gathering.

Thank you Thank you for such a great day!!! I can't wait to go through all my awesome stuff. As soon as I got home we had to leave to go to a "loser party". When we got home I laid on the couch and crashed!! (not sure if it was from a day of fun or the 3 chocolate martinis and 2 jello shots I had at the party w/in 2hours) All of you are amazing!! Thank you again Linda for putting this together. Gayla thank you for donating the all month stamps for door prize!! Love em.

Linda, it was a great day! Thanks for all you did!

I didn't fall asleep on the way home....too much giggling we did in the car. But I slept great last night. Can't wait to unpack my bag!

I forgot to mention also, when I got home the whole family cleaned the house for me. I am talking dusting, mopping and even putting up some of the Christmas decorations. I have an awesome family.

Well, my basement's big enough for everyone, but you will need your own air mattresses because that concrete floor is awfully hard.

Kari, I haven't had a chance to do anything with your bug stuff. I'm taking Mon off and planning to use them then. DH and I are going to the "Stone" Monday afternoon overnite, so maybe I can either drop them off to you or at Gayla's on Tues?

If not, they'll go in the mail to you.
Sure Gail, that should work perfect for me, no school on Tuesday!!! We missed you yesterday, you'll be jealous when we show you all the fantastic creations!!!

Hey, thanks to everyone for a great day yesterday! I'm really tired today, but it was more than worth it! Also - I'm the mystery popcorn girl! Keeping in mind that I am not a computer whiz - can I just type it up in this link for those who want it? I'll be online for a little while, or I'll just check back later! Faye - alias, mooreorless

It was the first thing he checked on as we unloaded the car!
POPCORN DELIGHT
2 popped bags microwave popcorn 2 cups salted peanuts
2 cups rice krispies 2 cups mini marshmallows
1 pound white candy coating, chopped 3 BIG tbls peanut butter

In a large bowl, combine the popcorn, peanuts, cereal, and marshmallows.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt candy coating and peanut butter; stir until
smooth. Pour over popcorn mixture and toss to coat.

Spread onto waxed paper lined baking sheets; refrigerate for 1 hour or until
set. Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Someone asked me (can't remember who- sorry!) to post the Shimmerz info I had. Here you go...

This shimmering, translucent, fade-resistant, water-based, acid free paint dries quickly on any surface- even acetate, porcelain, vellum, glass, plastic or metal! Shimmerz is really only limited to the users imagination and creativity.

Shimmerz is a "highly" iridescent paint that is color fast and safe for scrapbookers to use around their photos.

Stamp with Shimmerz by painting it directly onto the rubber.

Shimmerz can be used as a watercolor, or on top of other coloring mediums.

Use it to color a stamped image with a paintbrush or waterbrush.

Use it with a stipple brush or sponge to make dazzling backgrounds or borders.

Use alone or mix with your favorite water-based medium.

Stamp and color your image with markers, then add Shimmerz paints to a few select areas for added interest.

Color your image with a base color, then add a darker or lighter color while the paint is still wet to naturally blend the colors together.

Paint onto your Prima flowers, chipboard pieces, buttons, ceramic tiles, etc.

They’re already mixed. No recipe, no mess.

They’re made in the USA!

They offer 35 colors and will be adding 5 new Limited Edition colors for the holiday season.

And I was asked where to buy them. There are only 2 retail stores in the US that carry them so far. None around here. So you would need to order from the net. If you decide to purchase any, I think it would be nice to order from the ones who donated to our gathering....either All That Scraps or My Favorite Things. But here is the list from the creator's site of the stores that carry them:
