I guess that means that you found someone to watch your squids??? WOOHOO!!!

Ok...so I have a cuttlebug, big shot, scorpal, mm paper trimmer, circle cutter plus, A LOT of SU punches, over 100 SU stamp sets (retired and current), all SU ink pads minus the in colours, and lots of embossing folders and dies...just letting you all know so you don't have to bring any of that stuff, unless there's something specific that you want to work on....if there are other tools that you're thinking about bringing let me know and I'll let you know if I have it.

SOOOO EXCITED!!!!

As for the yummy snack...Teresa you're the best!!!!

I don't even have to bring ink pads?! Awesome! I haven't got anyone to watch them yet but I know one can go to Baba's (my monster in law) for sure and the other can go either to my Brother in law or to someone who owes me for when I had their squids over night.

Cool...thanks Christyne!

I have all the markers too, including the In Colours. No Teresa, don't bother bringing SU ink pads, I've got them all. Just bring CS, DSP, and any stamp sets that you want to use (if you wanna check with me to see if I have it first you can do that too). The less you've gotta lug the better right? That way you have free arm space to carry our midnight snack!

Girl, you got it all!

Did you get the free Kraft magazine that was delivered yesterday and today? There is a recipe I want to try on us in there.

I'm home! It's been an adventure! 4 trips to Hobby Lobby! I got orders to bring back two cuttlebugs, but I knew I couldn't take two home on the plane, so I had enough points for a free night at a hotel, and stayed in Buffalo overnight and stopped at the Depew H.L. (it's really close to the airport).
When I got into my car last night at 10:00 p.m., I had no juice! The battery was totally dead! Fortunately, the airport has a truck that does courtesy boosts, so I was on my way. Well, I guess I didn't drive far enough to charge it, as the battery was dead again this morning, but one of the hotel employees gave me a boost, and I idled the car for 35 minutes, before I shut it off at H.L. It almost didn't start again, but I got it going and I think that driving for 2 + hours will have charged the battery. I will try to start it a little early before going to work tonight, just in case.
So, Diana, all your goodies are here. I am working for 5 nights and then I am off next week, so if you would like me to deliver then, I should be able to do it Tuesday or Wednesday. LMK.

Just driving around the block should charge it enough. I think you need a new battery.

So I need to vent about the man in brown!!!! GRRRRR!!!!

So it rained pretty hard today and I was waiting eagerly for him to show up, he usually rings the doorbell and we have a little chat...by 5 pm he still had not shown so I turned on the outside lights for him (since it gets dark pretty early now). I didn't really expect him to show up any earlier since I'm usually last on his route. Anyways, 6pm rolls around and nothing, 7pm still nothing....7:30pm I go and have a peek outside, not sure why call it intuition...and voila, there it is my SU box packed with goodies...Excitedly I lift it to bring in the house and CRASH....the box collasped since it was soaked through with rain. GREAT!!! There's a pretty big overhang kinda thing over our porch but I guess with the wind it didn't do much. So I'm thinking, no big deal, everything is packaged tightly right??? WRONG!!! Packs and packs of cardstock RUINED!!! And to make matters worse, it's the colours that I NEED for my workshop in 1.5 weeks!!!!

I called Customer Service and the guy that I got was super nice...he's gonna rush it out for me tomorrow which means it'll get here next Thursday, which means I'll have 2 days to prep.....so I guess not all is lost!

On the upside, at least he came and at least I checked when I did. Otherwise I might not have noticed until later on or tomorrow and then I might not have gotten it in time for my workshop.

Diana, that's too bad. I'm thinking that if your mailman usually rings the doorbell, maybe he wasn't at work for some reason and they sent a replacement mail delivery type person. What a bummer! Ah, at least you are looking on the bright side of things.

Maybe you can make a new technique with paper in that condition? Might look really cool.

I am hoping that is the case since I was previously happy with the guy I had.

Oh Diana! How awful! Most times I am not happy that we live in a high rise condominium, but when I hear stories like yours, I am ever so grateful! If I'm not home, the man in brown leaves the box with my security guard - it's a beautiful thing!

Our condo building office, does not accept packages on anyone's behalf. So when I get anything that i need to sign for, is to big for my mailbox, I have to go and pick it up. The UPS office that my stuff gets delivered to is like 1/2 an hour away and if I'm picking it up afterwork, I am stuck in traffic both ways.

The PO and Fed Ex are the best. So I try my hardest to buy/order things that are NOT being shipped by UPS.

Diana, you're already looking ont he upside. I would have taken pictures, been on the phone with UPS customer service, ripping someone a "new one". I know there is nothing they can do about the rain, but they should take more care about leaving the package.

I have had a long standing beef with UPS for a long long long time...... lol

Glad that you two are feeling better today.
I feel like a horses bum today. I don't know why. I think I'm dehydrated. Add that to this strange sharp pain in my mid-back when I walk and I'm having a hard time.

Body feels like its 80 today....

Oh that sucks Karen! I hope you feel better soon and it's nothing too serious. Did you ever have a follow up on your diagnosis a few months ago??

About the SU order, on the bright side, although it's a little bit of an inconvenience to have to wait a little longer, I am technically getting a couple of packs of free CS. Although the ones that I got yesterday are damaged they are not totally ruined. So if I cut it in half, I can still make one card out of it and have a bit to layer with or use as scrap since it was only damaged at either one corner or side...

Keeping on the bright side (unless I don't get confirmation today that it's been sent out....)

Had my MRI yesterday morning.
I wonder if that has anything to do with why my back feels crazy pain today ~ its not supposed to do anything, but it IS a giant magnet, so who knows.

I just need a heating pad and a bed.... lol

I've done some cards where I scrunched up the paper, then flattened it back out again and layered under a stamped piece. Maybe you can do the same?

WOOHOO! Very cool!

Hmm.. Hanna Stamps has an old Route 66 stamp set.. not sure if they still have it.

You might try RubberNecker or Clear Dollar Stamps.. they're reasonably priced and they have a good variety....

Someone bought my angel food cake for $20 and $10 for my loaf of rye bread. The guy from Canada Post bought all of my cards.
Thanks, Karen, I'll check out those places for stamps.

Stamping Bella has a "Biker Bella" stamp, but not sure if that's what you're after...
