I did indeed meet my husband in Montreal...and get this...wait for it...I met him on a bus on a way to a pep rally while we were inhaling helium balloons.
Do you want to know what the pep rally was for? Are ya sure? MCDONALDS!!!!
As Melissa said earlier, we are off on the 28th, but not the 5th. Melissa will try to get it off for the annual Christmas party, but I will work, and not go to the Christmas party. The dinner was fantastic last year, but I know others will want to go, so I will work. It's not as much when you are single anyway.

What time is the get together on the 28th? I'm going to see if I can get someone to watch my squids so I can still come over.

Hmmm...time...lol, I guess we didn't think that far ahead since we were still deciding on the day. What do you ladies wanna do? I was thinking two things:
1. Pot luck dinner around 6:30-7pm...that way we'll eat, I can put the kiddies down and we can craft.
OR
2. Just crafting so you ladies can come any time after 8pm if you want to meet my kidlets for about an hour (they go to bed around 9pm) then we can craft.
I'd prefer them to be sleeping before we start since they like to 'help'...lol. And also since my room isn't done yet, my current space might be tight for all of us so I was thinking of taking over either in the kitchen or in the living room.
Thoughts ladies??

Saturday was just a mess of a day with DH doing the basement with his dad and Halloween, so I didn't even leave the house until it was time to take the kiddies out.
Sunday we had DH's family over so that was a write off.
Hopefully I'll be able to pop out one night this week otherwise I'll ask DH to pick it up on his way home from work one night. Hopefully he'll say 'yes' :-D
Sooooo needing a coffee right now too!

I am normally in my PJS and half asleep by 10pm!!
I ACTUALLY got some stamping done last night! WOOHOO!
I also made 3 pans of lasagne (well 2, then I ran out of lasagne noodles, so I made Fusilli instead). Now they're all in the freezer for one fine dinner sometime in the future.. lol.

Karen- I know a bit about hockey too. DH was trying to teach me about hockey but a lot of things haven't stuck...some things did, most didn't though. Way too hard to keep up with all the trades and stats and newbies, etc....

And on a stamping note...I got my $525 shopping spree delivered by the man in brown today - WOOT!!!!
8 stamp sets, 2 individual stamps, 2 personalized stamps, Christmas Jingle scrapping kit and my much awaited and loved Table Top Cutter...I LURVE IT!!!!
Oh! And two hostess sets...Asian Artistry and the holiday one (you know...the set with four stamps in it...Halloween, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas).
I get mine on Wednesday...nothing too exciting though. Mainly CS but still stampin goodies all the same! :mrgreen:
Make sure you bring some of those toys so we can play with too!!!
