Teresa- Melissa has paper for you (I totally forgot that she's offered), did you still want me to go and get the ones at Michaels? I don't mind and they're on sale now so 3 sheets will only be $1. Totally up to you, just let me know and I'll go tonight or tomorrow.
Only if you are going. I forgot about the paper too. But of course you can never have too much paper.

I wanted to go back and get more paper (since they're so cheap), so this will give me an excuse!

Ina's birthday is tomorrow, girls. I am hoping she won't check in before work, because I just put the birthday card I did for her on my blog. Feel free to have a peek.

Sorry to hear that your interview didn't go as well as you hoped. But that just means that it wasn't meant to be and there are bigger and better things out there for you.

Karen- what do you mean you're in that position too??

Bootcamp is cheaper then joining goodlife for a year and WAY cheaper then getting a personal trainer! (Trust me I priced out everything LOL)

It's not as intimidating and scary as you may think! Find someone in your area (Or if you want to travel to my area you're more then welcome!) for a bring a buddy night. Then you'll see it without pressure of joining and test it out to see if you like it.

Got an email from Red Lobster last night alerting me that Crabfest is on!!! LOL I Love Red Lobster =)

Happy Thursday Ladies!!!

I heard back from the company this morning. They wanted to move super quick with the hiring. They said that my personality and attitude is EXACTLY what they are looking for but since they are looking to move super quickly they wanted someone with more experience with the programs they use (Something called SAP?)

Again, like dbf said to me this morning they really probably turned me down because of $$. I wouldn't want to be living pay cheque to pay cheque so I think it's for the best really. (dbf and I have been talking about weddings lately so taking a huge pay cut would interfere with saving up for it!) Meh. Life goes on!!

I'm too upbeat and positive to be sad about it lol And I have another interview next week (Again another stupid pay cut grrrr we shall see what happens)

I've had a pretty good day. I got an email from my friend (and old co-worker that I haven't seen since I got laid off) at 11:05am this morning and she said she was taking another friend/co-worker of ours out to lunch @ 12 for her birthday and if I can make it so last minute. I laughed since I had no make-up on, hair was still bed-headish and I was still in my pj's. I called her up and asked her if she was serious and she said yes and don't worry about getting ready (besides changing out of my pjs LOL) So I ran upstairs threw on some quick makeup, fixed my hair and changed and raced down the highway to Mississauga to make it in time. When I got there and the greeter led me to the table I was greeted by 12 of my old co-workers who were so excited to see me and started making so much noise everyone was staring LOL I was the mystery guest. I was sooo happy to see my old co-workers I almost cried a bit LOL

That was the exciting part of my day (LOL Isn't that sad?!)

Then I went grocery shopping and the fridges at my store were broken so nothing refrigerated was available since they put it all in the back of the store lol Oh wells I guess I'll go back tomorrow

And tonight is bootcamp again =) I have a love/hate relationship with it hahaha I love to go as I feel great afterward but I am not motivated to go until I drag my butt to my car haha

Because I've taken it twice now I have an extra workout DVD if anyone wants it. It is pretty good (the creator is a little on the annoying side sometimes - just mute lol) When I used it at home I found I was swearing at the TV alot so you may want to try it out without kids/others around HAHAHA And start with beginner! That's pretty intense still!!

How was everyone else's day so far?

Hehehe...you're so cute Dion! All the cabinets are from Ikea...not sure which huge ones you're talking about though. If you mean the ones with the glass doors on them, they're actually 3 Billy bookcases side by side, with the glass doors. If you're talking about the 5 x 5 open cube storage thing-y then that's the Expedit shelving (same with the shelves I use to store my paper, except that's 2 single ones side by side). I hope that makes sense...

It really wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be considering the size of my room and how much storage I wanted. It was the glass doors that were pricey (if I remember correctly they cost more than the bookshelves themselves), so if you're flexible on what doors you want, it'll be even cheaper.

Let me know if you want help customizing your room...I had tons of fun doing it. So much so that now we're doing our basement kitchen at Ikea (I LOVE their program!!)

That's true...I guess I didn't really think of it that way. Funny how I sometimes justify and spend that much on stamping supplies but hesitate when it comes to doing something good for my health.

I would LOVE to come with you on your buddy night but I'm thinking that you're just a little far for me.

Dion, I don't think that it's sad that seeing your friends/old coworkers was the highlight of your day! I think that was really sweet!

Sorry to hear that things didn't work out from your interview yesterday but glad to hear that you're keeping a positive attitude and moving forward. You didn't have good vibes leaving the place so you probably wouldn't have been happy there anyway. Like I said yesterday, bigger and better things are waiting out there for you! It's their loss!

Teresa- I went to Michaels and picked up the paper for you. I didn't get the black and white one though since it wasn't how I remembered it to be and I didn't think that it would work with what you're trying to do. The map image was only on the top right corner and the left side had "passport" written on it (it was really big, half the page). So if you were to cut it, then you'd most likely only get one usable piece. So I got the brown one for you, there's red highlights in it, so maybe you can do a red car or card base to tie it all in. Just a suggestion, in case you're bringing cs to punch out on Monday. I'll try and take a picture of it and post so you can see what it looks like.

I saw the home page and drooled from the sound effects...lol...

Isn't it great when your old co-workers really do actually miss you for you not because of work....I a big baby I cried when my work place did that for me...

That sounds like an amazing day....!

Are you talking about their computer program where you can create your room...?

I used that for my bedroom!

Okay so I'm curious to find out if we are going to go through with ordering from Oozak...

I've started to pick out my other colors....

yep...I LOVE their computer program. I just plug the room size into the program and everything fit to a T. I mean the furniture just fit so nicely that it could pass as custom made for the room. I LOVE it!

And yes, we're doing the copics order from oozak. I'm putting together my list too. We should try and get it together quickly since I think Suzanne is going on her trip at the end of the month, so we want to make sure she gets it before/while she's there.

HAHA Thanks!
I guess I should've been a little more specific. I was talking about the ones with the glass doors on it. Thanks for the specifics!! At least that way I can price out how much it would roughly cost when that time comes around (I won't be moving upstairs for at least a couple years )

I would love help and input from you If you want you can design the room for me LOL The floor plan of my house is online still so I can get the measurement of the room easily. Its 11' 6" x 10' 10". I've attached a photo (Before painting it chocolate brown - It's the best photo I have of it as the other sides are just walls lol)

I would LOVE to come with you on your buddy night but I'm thinking that you're just a little far for me.
I was thinking the same way as you before. I was actually going to get a gym membership AND get a trainer! Then reading reviews and whatnot I decided not to go that route.

But it definitely is hard to justify the amount when you think of all the rubbah you can buy LOL

I felt super happy when I saw how happy they were to see me. I also felt bad for the birthday girl as the attention was on me alot LOL but she loves me and that's ok hahaha

I am excited to see what bigger and better things are out there for me I'm still super positive even though I've been jobless for a while... It's the way I am haha

I wish I could get in with you guys in ordering copics... I have to be firm and not buy in as much as I would love to.

I hate this new "b" word in my vocab (Budget!) LOL

So I'll just drool over your group buy

that's a hard choice....be fit and healthy or buy lots of rubbah...although stamping in itself is a form of workout right? all that inking and stamping, cutting paper, rolling Big Shot or Cuttlebug machines.....

I've said it once and I'll say it again, you guys are more than welcome to come over...as long as you don't mind screaming babies, poopie diapers, and stamping in a freezer!

lol...the "b" word is a "b" word in itself!
