WHAT: 2ND Nashua, NH Shoe Box Swap

WHEN:Saturday, June 30, 2007 - between 12 noon and 5:30 pm
WHERE: Nashua Public Library, Media Room
Deadline to to reserve your place: June 23RD

Directions to the Main Library at 2 Court Street

From the South:
Take Everett Turnpike (Rte. 3) north. When you see the sign for Exit 5/Route 111, get in the right lane.
Get off at Exit 5-E, Rte. 111 East (Kinsley St.).
Take Rte. 111 East to the fourth set of lights and turn left onto Main St..
Follow Main St. north and at the third set of lights turn right onto Temple St.
Take Temple St. to the second left onto Cottage Ave. and into the City's metered parking lot.

From the North:
Take Everett Turnpike (Rte. 3) to Exit 7-E, Rte. 101-A (Amherst St.).
Take Rte. 101-A to the major intersection and turn right onto Main St.
Follow Main St. south and at the third set of lights turn left onto Temple St.
Take Temple St. to the second left onto Cottage Ave. and into the City's metered parking lot.

Details:

1.There is only room for 15 people so please reserve your place by June 23rd. This will give everyone time to put together their projects.

2. You can reserve your space by contracting me and I will update this post with everyones name as I receive them.

3. Everyone participating should bring there own adhesive and scissors.

4. Please be aware that the Library, does not allow food or beverage, so you may want to grab a bit to eat before you come. Also, the Library does not permit selling of product on the premises.

5. For those who may not know what a Shoe Box swap is: Each participant decides on a project and brings enough precut materials and all other supplies for all participants to complete the project.

Extra note: We had a great time at our last get together in March. Below is a link to the finished projects we completed.

but I think I leaving for vacation on the 30th. I might be able to swing some SWAPS if y'all are willing to make an extra for me. How did you get to reserve the room at the library? Is it free or a small fee? I am trying to expand my friendship circle WITH my SU! business (aside from this shoebox group) but my house is so small...I have to limit myself.


June 30th will be here before you know it and I am sure your SU Demo's will have their copy of the new catty by then!!! WOO HOO!! I can't wait.

I went on line to the Nashua Public Library and contacted them that way... I have it bookmarked because I download books all the time..

They do not charge a fee however, there were restrictions regarding selling product so I would advise you to ask your public library...

Do you want me to keep you posted regarding any other activities in the area?? I will keep you on my buddy list if so.

Let me know if anyone is willing to get together at some point in Concord. I am thinking about setting up something later this summer. I'm working on having a Demo there to teach us some new stuff. Maybe do a all day affair, everyone brings a sack lunch and pays a small fee for the day. Some fun raffles. I don't what else. Let me know if anyone has anything that they are interested in doing or trying.......

Do you already have a demo? I am one and live in Manchester. Looking to expand a bit. Let me know.

I would definately be interested and willing to go to Concord. One question, when you say demo do you mean you have to be an SU demonstrator? If not

Sorry, I also have to back out. It is hard for my husband to get time off in the summer and he just got off June 28 and 29. We will now be leaving for vacation on June 28 until July 8. This is our only week of family vacation for the summer.

I really hope to make it next time. I will be bringing my stamps with me on vacation so my daughter and I can make a few projects while my son and husband golf. I will need to find internet access I can have my first order from the new catalog waiting for me when I get home.
