LJ - yours is FAB!! I am falling for those hoodie stamps with every creation all you ladies make with them.
Did you know I have a thing for Cow Parade Cows? I have some in every room. I have so many, I have to rotate them by season. It is always fun for me to see one I have not seen before.
Thanks for the challenge link, but these are beyond me right now til I get ahead on swaps - I hate when they are just on time or a few days late - totally stresses me. Perhaps someday...

We had the cows on parade around the downtown a few summers ago. They were all so cool! THere were two badger themed ones that I can remember. The one that is on the scrapbook page is the one for the UW Band..
Gael, I think some of the stores on State Street have a few of the cows (smaller of course) left. you want me to check for a wisconsin one for your collection?

We have had the cow parade twice (that I know of). The first time Alafair was about 4 and was interviewed by a channel 3 newsguy. I don't think she ever actually got on the news, but I did take photos of her interview, so I can prove it really happened. The second time it came around was just last December'ish and I am sad to say I missed it. :( I had been so looking forward to it coming back and I just never found the time to get there...
I think it originated in West Hartford, CT, which borders my town and has been the site of the two "parades"

I'll check em out this week and let you know. I know the wisconsin cheese house use to have some (and I love going there for their cheese!)
so I know a lot of you have copics... I have some prismas... they are both alcohol based ink. I also have tried them both but perhaps not enough to know the difference.
What do u think is the major difference between the two besides price?
Hey Michele!
Blending/shading, paint brush nib, refillable, air-brushable, and a wider selection of colors.
I've spend the ENTIRE weekend (except last night when Lance & I went to dinner) organizing my office. I worked on my embellishments Friday night and Saturday, and then I wokred on my ribbon Saturday night but I am in NO way done with that chore yet. Right now I'm working on putting some clear stamps in CD cases and trumming some UM rubber stamps and putting them in pocket pages in notebooks. Exciting stuff, huh?

MWAH!
I'm jealous! Everyone is getting themselves organized this weekend, and I'm just making a bigger mess!
Nah...actually I'm getting in some naps and some stamping time too! woohoo!
organizing, you can come to my house and do my room next if you want!!!!
I have been putting some of my stamps away in cd cases slowly throughout the weeks, but I always seem to misplace the ones I really really need!!! it's like my room is better a mess b/c I can always find it then, lol!
I got Scrappy's recipes swap done.
It turns out I am not going to participate in any challenges, I have to write lesson plans and a rubric for my kiddos at school.
I am enjoying watching a football fame with my DD and DH.

Mama thanks for the update on the copics... I'm still thinking about them though. the last time I used them I got a major headache.
Maybe the headache was from my incessant chattering and not the copics! :( You are welcome to try out mine Michele! I found another good 'source' for our next secret mission.:cool:

Hey Happy Happy Joy Joy!
I HAD to get organized - I'm ridiculously OCD when it comes to having a neat, clean & organized place to work. . .;)
Not only that, but I had to make room for all the stuff I bought over the last six weeks. . .
Perish the thought - I'd much rather have friends than neatness in my house!!!
MWAH!
Thanks Mama! We loved visiting you! Oh and just so you know. Annabella still says you look like the hula girl cutout from the first HPC - and kisses 'you' everytime she gets in there! Even DH thinks its cute!
Mama, come clean my place PLEASE Actually it's not all that bad right now, my desk is clean, I just have BOXES all over the place. Dad was just here and he just rolled his eyes at me.....Tee-Hee....Yea, like those boxes are sitting where my tree is going....Uh-Huh not yet....
I showed mom and dad the SB page I made, they thought it was cute....then mom went on a rave about how "Whinie" some head football coach was...couldn't imagine who she was talking about.
The good thing is I at least got the bed made today ;) most of the time it doesn't happen for whatever reason,
Some of the Tee/Hoodie cards are now in mom's stash....she was looking at em all today and snagged a few for her collection. I think Joy's Here Kitty was one of them, and so was LV's "I'm with the Band" one in her stash. They're going to a happy home where she'll set em out in her stamp room (that she doesn't stamp in) where she can look at em wondering if she could ever make such beautiful cards.....Ok, she took a few of MINE too....And nope I did not privy her to the Ho Cards....that would be like opening Pandora's Box....Tee-Hee...
Auntie was good today, let me borrow her W/D to save a few bucks, made a wonderful lunch (LEFTOVERS!) got to take home some yummy brownies, oh and we watched the packers just tear the Chicago Bears apart....
