Thanks for the info - I am definitely going to need to practice with them! The card is beautiful! So start with the darker shade?

Gabby does prismas? I thought she did copics! I want in in that tutorial, too!! (wow, say that ten times fast!) I got a bunch in a swap from Meredith and then two more for sarhod's fave things, and a handful more for my birthday! Now I gotta learn how to best use them!

Love that card Gabby!! Didn't you also have a chart that said which markers were closest to which SU colors? Any chance you still have that? (Or someone else does??)

any one know how to emboss with the nesties using the big shot if you don't have the tan mats? Anyone know where to get the tan mats if I need them. All I find is the nesties from all the sites.
I tried searching but there is so much info on here it is too overwhelming to sort through.
thanks.

Su, I have a tan mat if you need it. I've never needed to use it with the CB, do you want it just incase?

How about a mouse pad? that is what I use in my bug (have not done with nesties yet, but works great with fiskars plates so I imagine it'll be fine!)

I think it's just a preference thingy. I've tried both (I have 2 copics) and I like the Prismacolors better.

Now I can't find the post... was it Gael's??... here is the You Tube link to Prismacolor's channel itself, which is loaded to the gills with tutorials at different levels, and different objects.

a fun "party game to do is stamp onesies. I bring craft inkspots and solid stamps wild about you and stinkin cutwe are good ones. wash the onesies and drybefore the party. Hang a string across the room and use clothes pins to clip them up as they are stamped to dry and so everyone can enjoy them. voila the new mom has lots of special onesies for the baby (I did several sizes so the baby cna grow into them)>

We did that at a baby shower not to long ago.

We also did one in a more intimate setting ( because it would take forever with a large group ) using Iron on transfers that we either image picked and printed or simply custom made.

We have 30-35 people coming. So I'm not sure if stamping 35 onesies would be too much....

If you put out enough supplies that groups of three or four could share, it wouldn't be bad. No more time consuming than a game that entailed every person in the room getting a whack at it, and certainly a lot more fun - with a useful result t'boot!

She called last night "Oh I just spent THREE hours looking at baby shower stuff on line, have you done ANYTHING for the shower yet?" type attitude, and I'm like "Uhhh I'll see what I Can do mom". Forget the fact those invitations took me HOURS to make with all the coloring.....
