Holy cow you Ho's can chatter!!! I've missed that! I am ROFLMAO about the meat talk...then of course my rocky road ***** had to think nutty with Cori's carpal...yes...I went there! HA HA HA! I'm sorry though Cori! I sometimes have bad bouts of CT too...and yeah...it sucks when it interferes with stamping!

Things are settling a bit at home but I'm still drained BAD!!! I've been working on swaps though cus I don't wanna cut it so short this time. Once the Holidays come around...it'll get hectic!

Hey - one year I did ALL of the dishes, and ALL the prep, shopping, and cleaning before and after for twenty -some odd guests! Buncha jerks didn't even lift a finger to help - even after I asked! :mad: Nine side dishes is nothing compared to that!
I never started....:mrgreen: Thanksgiving is my Monday so NO COOKING HERE.... I will escape the 90 billion bowl games too!!! Or is that Christmas time??? BUT... Cowboys and Seahawks play and I will be in Seahawk land!!! OMG It's a coin toss as to who will suck more.....:rolleyes:
No work for me on Thanksgiving, either. Tonight we head off to Breckenridge, Colorado for one of our two annual ski trips. Jim will ski from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.; Liz will sleep half the day away (her favorite thing to do which she never gets to do!) and ski in the afternoon, and I will sit (all cozy) in our condo, drinking hot chocolate and hot cider and make our Christmas cards and Liz's snowman soups for all of her friends. Wonderful holiday weekend for all I will have laptop with me, so I will even pop in on SCS at times. To me--it sure beats all of that cooking!

That's what I get for being a responsible mom anddrudging out to get a kid some boots because somehow his dadgum feet grew in the past four weeks since I bought the last pair ( that were half a size too big when they came home from the store ). ;)

hi all, kids ore off today, I am running to the po to get some almost late swaps off.
Oh god I forgot to buy the kids snow boots this year and surely all I will be able to find is next summers flip flops in all the stores by now.
and my Ho Id cards are in the mail, save two... Heather, a package will go out for Christopher this week, and the ho id cards will be in an anvie ( for you & Manda ) in there.

We're having Thanksgiving at my house this year. But dh is frying the turkey, so there's not much work to be done on my part. I'll probably be mashing some potatoes. Everyone is bringing someothing. Yay for you not cooking! Are your kids off all week?

We're going to DisneyWorld!!!! Probably 1/19 - 1/26, they have a huge promo going on - but 4 nights get 3 free, plus a $200 Disney Card. I also found a CHEAP airfare, $143 on NWA out of Milwaukee, so with the air, we are going for $600 EACH for seven nights. The $600 includes, lodging, park passes, and airfare. I Figure the $200 GC we can use for food. WAHOO!

I wish I could visit as often as many of the other Ho's visit them...but sometimes this crazy life just bums me the heck out (I haven't even updated MINE that's how bad it's got)! LOL..one meal at Mickie dees will cost you around 10 bucks easy..one fry in the park will be 4dollars easy..pack your store bought food and we ate one meal there...a family of four meal would be around 50 bucks easy..

Me too! Alafair has half days M, T and W and then is off and is HOME this weekend! First time Thanksgiving weekend has not been a visitation weekend since she was 3. I am so excited!!
