Hi, I just got back from the mini mingle in Dewitt and had a wonderful time. I am interested in going to Bay City, but I am not sure because of the cost. Are there any rooms that someone can share for Friday nite? I live close enough I can drive home after on Saturday. How much would the room be and how much is the actual mingle?

Hi! The cost for the mingle is $45 and that includes snacks/drinks on Friday night, lunch on Saturday, and snacks/drinks on Saturday afternoon. As part of the event you will get some materials to complete 3 coordinator challenges. You can participate in the shoebox swap, unorganized swapping, there will be special guest demonstrations, lots of prizes, you can do a handmade door prize like we did yesterday. The big mingle differs from the mini mingle in that we keep you pretty busy most of the time you are there. You won't have the free stamping time like you did yesterday all day unless you decide not to participate in the shoebox and coordinator challenges. You will have free stamping time in the evenings if you want.

Oh and the sleeping rooms are $79 a night and that is with 2 DOUBLE beds, not queens. So I suggest two to a room, unless you are VERY comfortable with your roomies. Hee hee. Pattyb was looking for a roomie at one point and I tried to set her up with someone, but that gal hasn't registered yet. So Patty may still be looking for a roomie.

Hi, Of course I could have answered some of my questions if I would have read the registration. I would like to sign up, I will need to talk with my coworker because I don't have a credit card and my boss because I need to know if I can leave work early since I work with M.Stowers who is also coming. Still wondering if anyone wants to share a room? I don't smoke or snore, I do have a CPAP though, which is quiet, sounds kinda like white noise. It only takes me about an 1-1 1/2 to get home so no matter what time we let out Saturday I'll drive home so I only need Friday nite.

I just wanted to let everyone know I had a wonderful time yesterday. When I first learned the OSW I thought that was the coolest thing, but as we all probably do as we learn new techniques we grow. I learned so much yesterday, you all make such beautiful cards. They look so elegant. I found new uses for my patterned paper. Some of you were asking about the Trapeze cards. Mouseyr61 -- the best place to post that you are looking for a roomate for the Big Mingle as well as your comments about the Mini Mingle would be on the Michigan Chat thread.
