I'm sorry ladies! I won't be able to go the the mini-mingle as I originally hoped. I work on historical houses in our area and already had a meeting in the am for that that I couldn't get out of. Then another thing came up for later in the day, which nixed any of my remaining time.
I am pretty sure I will make the big mingle though...I am triple checking with everyone right now. I still have one person to hear from and then it will be a go and I'll send in my registration.
I am really bummed about the mini-mingle. I hope you all have a great time!

I have a question, I am signed up for the bigger mingle in March and I know some of the people going to it, but I looked over the list for this one and I don't recognize anyone, if I attend will there be people who don't know others? I am a therapist by profession, so I am good meeting people, but I have attended a few organized scrap events and felt quite awkward as everyone came with others, and I came alone. Pretty new to the state, so don't know all that many people here in MI. Let me know and I will decide this week. thanks

Please don't let that stop you from coming! I'll be coming alone, even though I know some of the gals. I know it can feel intimidating if no one takes the time to get to know you. But this group of gals (the ones that I know of the group) are really nice! And there are plenty of names listed that I don't recognize. So, there will be a lot of others that don't know anyone. Hope you can make it! __________________

Roxie, It will only take about 5 minutes and you will feel like you are right at home with the bunch of ladies that are coming to the mini mingle. In fact, I think I should make sure you sit close to my good friend " badmom " since you are a therapist and all......... seriously when you leave your face will hurt from laughing so hard all day. |

I would think anyone who has "shrinky dink ho" in their signature line should fit right in
Seriously? I went to a very similar mingle two years ago (in okemos) by myself-I knew noone that was going. I made some great friends that I still look forward to stamping with! I met some new friends at the last mingle, and I am looking forward to making more at this one. . . this is a great way to meet some fun ladies!
And it is nice to leave, and be able to chat them up on the MI threads

We've got a couple of ho's coming to the big mingle I think. Someone needs to explain all this ho business to me!
Crystal and I met Robin at Okemos a couple of years ago. That was lots of fun! Remember we went out to Applebees? What a hoot!
