Off topic...but wanted to bump as well as check in from Southern Indiana...we're safe and sound after last nights tornado...it was an hour or so south of us...
Wow thats sorta in my back yard..and I didnt even know it?? I sure hope no one was injured... those things really scare me!
As far as the meeting..I save a lot of my vacation days for the end of the year.
I will just have to spend some time in Indy for sure.. doing some shopping ;)
gotta love Castleton area hehehe and 86th street!
If it has to be after the holidays to accomodate everyone's schedule.. that is ok with me as well!

I could do it in December either on the 3rd or the 17th. The 10th doesn't look good for me right now. Let me know what is decided. I'll make it if I can.
December should be ok with me - can't think of any weekends that would bad. But then again, if we need to wait til March, that's fine also. Guess I'm really not any help, am I? haha
I live in Indpls but went down to TN for the weekend. We got home this morning. So, it was bad, huh?
I am over here in Illinois and if it is somewhere near Indy I wouldn't mind driving over for the day. I have been to a couple of shoebox swaps over here in Illinois and have had so much fun meeting SCS'ers.
I need to find these scrapbook stores you are all talking about. I am extremely jealous you guys have Archiver's. We will probably never see one here in Champaign.
the tornado was near Evansville and regrettably their were some people that died and a lot more injured. I was also waken up at 3 or so with all of the weather but I know we did not have a Tornado here. Thankfully.
I'd vote for December, just because I don't want to wait all the way until March! I can do either, though.
Woke up early Sunday morning because of the sound of hail hitting our windows, and my first thought was to check for a tornado warning because of all the warm weather. We got lucky, though. I hope all of our southern IN SCSers are okay!

This sounds like fun but my weekends in December are booked too with family coming from out of state and travelling for us. :( Guess I'll have to wait til we thaw out in spring 2006!
I just PM'd you! I'm in Mooresville and Greenwood is my old stomping grounds (graduated from Center Grove). I would love to meet some other SCSers in the area.
I'm in Mooresville too! I would be interested if it all works out to a time when I can come!
Sounds fabulous. There are several Cord Cameras around Indy. There is a new one in Avon (west-side of Indy) that has a large cropping room. Depending on how many people want to come, they may be able to accomadate us.
Where is the one in Avon? Theres one in Plainfield too. Not sure about the cropping room.
Hello ladies....
I am part of a group called Indy Inkerz (it is not an official SU group)
We get together every few weeks to months depending on what is going on and we talk stampin, checking out others stamp rooms (big thing with us), catalog, promotions, what is happening next and all that fun SU stuff...plus we get a few hours to ourselves...no kids or husbands!
I am sure they would be interested so I will post this thread on our yahoo board and link it up so that they can get in on the dealings!
March is alright for me....that is what it is looking like!
In March there will also be a Shoebox swap for the RMHC here in Indy (Plainfield Library I believe). I will also post this thread in that yahoo group so that those involved with RMHC could participate!
AWESOME!
Count me in!
Heather
Come and help us make cards for families at the Ronald McDonald Houses!
Heather mentioned our event in her message so I thought I would give you a few details. We are hoping to get 40 people but the library thought we could fit 60. I am also thinking about having a morning session and an afternoon session instead of the 2 groups to help with timing. You can participate in both sessions but you would need 2 different cards.
Since everyone was already booked for November 5th, we are postponing
the event until March 4th. I just scheduled the rooms. I will send out another announcement in January. If you would like to be on a mailing list to be reminded then, send a note to me at hdavis at ma.rr.com.
Where: Plainfield Public Library (Guilford Township), Plainfield, IN
Time: 9:30 AM 4:00 PM
Cost: $5.00 for each group for supplies and door prizes
Details:
Our hope is to get 40 participants for this project. We will have two groups of 20. Each participant is responsible for bringing a card sample, supplies to make 20 card fronts AND supplies to make 20 whole cards and instructions if needed. The whole cards will be donated to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Indianapolis. The card fronts are for the participants to take home as samples. All cards need to be regular size (5 x 4 ) and made with current Stampin' Up items. The cards can be any occasion or generic participants' choice. We hope to get envelopes for the whole cards donated by office supply companies but will buy envelopes with the supply money if necessary.
A generic card will be included in the packet each family receives
when they check into the Ronald McDonald House. The occasion cards
will be grouped in containers so families can choose cards they need
without spending extra time away from their sick child. If we get 40
participants, we will have 800 cards to donate!
Just found this thread. I'm in East Central Indiana, DEFINITELY interested!! I have a couple downline that would probably be interested as well. Can't wait for the finalized details!
I have a downline in the FIshers area, looking for a group to meet with on a regular basis. I have meetings here, but I am in Northern Indiana, and it it tough for her to drive 3 hours one way for a 2 hour meeting! If you would be willing to welcome her into your group, please let me know! Thanks ANGIE
Hi Everyone! I am in the Indy Inkerz group too, along with Heather and Teresa. I'm in...sounds like a great idea Amy! Will watch for updates as we get closer to March. If I can help in any way, please give me a pm....

Just wanted you to know that I would like to attend. Sounds like fun -- I'm so glad it wasn't going to be on March 11th because that's the Las Vegas Regional.
So it's the 18th and not the 11th of March? Man! I'm excited!!! How very fun will this be?!! Let me know how I can help!

Yes it is the 18th. I have the website address on the first post along with the club's address if anyone is interested. There are to many menu choices!!! They have unlimited coffee, tea, and water, but endless soda is $1.95 a person. I don't have time to look at the menu to decide right now, but thank you so much Susan!! This sounds GREAT!!!!!
