*Croppin' in Mid Tn* for June
 

Hi ladies. I enjoyed hosting the event a few weeks ago and had lots of fun. So who's up for another crop? I would love for you to join us on Friday, June 5th for a PJ crop. We will start at 6pm and crop until Saturday morning. Wear your Pj's and enjoy the overnight crop. We will be at Advent Lutheran Church in Murfreesboro.

I am planning some fun games, so bring a $10 gift. Also, bring a snack to share, your own drink, and one breakfast item.

I am excited about this one and look forward to seeing you all!

Thanks for the heads up Kelly - I have on my schedule that we're having a class at Sassy on the 13th with our group..is that still on??? Sherri??? Cathy??? Anyone know??? I think that was a tentitive date, but not sure on that...

I'm pretty sure we are still on for June 13th. Let's hear it from Sherri to make sure.

Kristy as far as I know everything is planned for the 13th,

I have told Ms. Mary we were doing the class at Sassy on the 13th of June, I thought it was the following people for sure, we have to pay Sassy by the end of May for the class. The cost is $10.00 when you go to Fiskars if you have your money just make a check out to Sassy Scrappers and I will take all the checks and make the final payment on the 9th of May, that is Layout of the Month day.

If we need to change the date let me know asap I have Ms. Mary holding that date for us. It does not matter what everyone wants to do I just need to know so that I am not held responsible for the cost of a class that we can not attend.

Ooopsss, I didn't remember the date for that class. So, I will change my date to June 5th.

Sherri it might be better if you start another thread with that information so people won't get the dates confused.

I would like to sign up for both dates. Sherri the meeting time is 10 am correct?? Just making sure that it is do able with church and all in the afternoon.

Yes, the class at Sassy is 10:00 a.m. and after the class we were all going to go do lunch somewhere.

What time is the Friday Night Crop going to start and what time on Saturday will it be over? Just trying to make to figure out it I will be able to attend all or just part.

On Friday, we will start around 6 that night and finish up around 8 or 9 on Saturday morning. There isn't anything going on for Saturday at the church, so we will have plenty of time. We missed you at the last one, so I hope you can make it.

WHOOO HOOOO Wendy and Sherri can make it too. Sherri, hey we will take you for 6-11 or 12 or all night which ever you can make it for we will be happy to see you!! I think I will have a few swaps to work on that night. I know I have a card swap due in July so maybe I will work on that that night. Maybe I can get a few layouts done too if I prepare better than I did last time.

Kelly, I will bring all my punches again. And my cricut cartridges too...and dies like before. Even though I didn't use ANY of them....I thought it was great having them there. lol

I'll be packing along all of the machines and the dies and carts that I have as well. I think I'll leave my small punch stash at home. I don't have anything you don't have and you have so much more.. LOL Thanks for bringing them!

Right now I have 7 swaps I am working on and I am waiting for 20 to come back to me. As you can tell, I love swapping.

I'll bring my new Big Shot. I haven't tried it out yet, but we'll get a chance to play. I'll bring along some various sizzix dies and alphas, too. No, Kelly, I do not have the top note die.

I have a friend that may want to sign up. What is your limit (how many people)?

OOohhh I can't wait to try the Big Shot. I used it once at the first card meet (I think) and it was cool. But I didn't get a chance to really play with it. I am considering ordering the top note die if I can somehow get it to work in one of my machines!

Three more weeks until the crop day! I am sooo excited!

Crop day is almost here. Just a few more weeks. I hope everyone is still planning on making it and you are getting your stuff ready.

Let me know if you plan on coming and staying until morning. You are more than welcome to come and leave whenever you would like, but I need to plan for breakfast. :)

I plan to work on a book for my DD's school musical/play that she was in last month. I have a few sb papers that are drama related, but I am considering doing a monochromatic book (maybe black, red, white). I'm not sure which way I am going to go.

I also have to decide which size book I am going to do. Originally, I thought that I would do 8x8, but now I am considering other sizes. Her script with all of the music is in a nice printed book. I think that I want to make a page with a pocket for that. It would definitely stick out of the top of an 8x8. So, I need to decide if I am going to do it with or without the script.

Woo hoo.. glad to hear it Wendy. You were a blast last time and I can't wait to see you again. What size is her script? Will it work in a 9x9 book? If not, I guess the next size is the 12x12?

I have no idea what I will be working on yet. There are several swaps I could get started on. I should get my swap ideas together and do them there. Hmm, maybe that is what I will do.. lol

Gosh this looks like so much FUN !!! Too bad I don't live in Nashville anymore, or I would be there. What a great idea.. a PJ party. Of course I would sleep through most of it.. but still... what fun.

June at the Junction Weekend!

This is NUTS. This is Crazy! I can’t believe I’m about to offer this, but here goes: The weekend of June 12-14 you can come for a weekend at the Junction for only $150! We are opening the doors to small groups and individuals to come and be pampered for a whole gorgeous June weekend. All your meals, snacks, and beverages are included. Book a massage or pedi while you’re at it! This is the perfect time to work on that Father’s Day project. We have NEVER offered a deal this good! RSVP by June 6th to save your spot. We must have at least 10 participants!

Donna that thing at the junction sounds fun but I have a meeting at church for Character Quest on the 12th and signedup for the class at Sassy's on the 13th.

Kelly let me know on the breakfast or not. So, I know if I need to buy the items for breakfast and what to tell hubby. As he was planning on cooking. Maybe he and Brandon will go fishing like they want afterall then.

I wanted to remind you of the crop on Friday. We will start around 6pm. You can wear your PJ's since it is a PJ/overnight crop.

Remember to bring your own drink, a snack to share and a breakfast item. I decided since there aren't that many gals coming we wouldn't cook for everyone so just bring a breakfast we can heat up or don't have to stand over to cook.

Also, bring a $10 gift. We will do a gift exchange and play some games!

Got it Kelly....think I will bring something like a cheese danish or so for breakfast...that way it doesn't have to be heated and won't go bad either. I think I am going to bring a Mexican layer dip and chips for the snack. And of course I can't go without my Twizzlers and maybe some M & M's. We will see what else I come up with by Friday.
