Red face Your First 2006-07 IB&C Order

So...when you actually placed your order from the first catalog, what did you get? And what stamp or accessory are you dreaming about until it arrives?

My order was long, so I'll share it later. I ordered on Saturday as soon as OEX went live - it was quite the experience!

My first order won't go in until Saturday, but I spent some time yesterday figuring out what I want
Cool Caribbean ink pad, refill, and cardstock
Cranberry Crisp ink pad, refill, and cardstock
Happy Everything (can't wait to use this on Christmas cards!)
Wild Hearts (this reminds me of going fabric shopping with my mom, the tiny pattern on it looks like the fabric she buys for making pillows)
First in Fashion (that "buy one in every color" thing is so me!)
Warm Words (who can resist?)
Artfully Asian (wasn't impressed at first, but it's obviously grown on me)
Touch of Nature (so glad it's in the catty as I missed it in the mini last year)
And shortly thereafter, I will need to go buy a new stamp cabinet as the one I have now is absolutely full. I had to take my alphabet sets out and stick them on top...
So c'mon, what's everyone else getting?

Default 1st order

I ordered yesterday, I'm surprised I waited that long to order!

Cutter Kit
In Color Assorted paper
Happy Everything -- I'm a sucker for cute word sets
Warm Words -- again, the word sets get me every time
Wild about You
Flower Fest
Close as a Memory
Lilypad -- I love that there is another wheel for Unfrogettable
Festive Favorite -- I'm truly going to start my x-mas cards early this year ;)
You're Neat
Fairy-tale Wedding
Cool Carribean ink
Cranberry Crisp ink

I'm quite excited to get the box. Very few of the mini catalog sets I had from last year made the book, so despite not taking too big of a hit from the retirement list, not many of my mini sets made it, so time to replenish!

My wish list is huge, but I had to start somewhere!
Here is what I ordered on the 1st:

A to Z Accents--my b-day is early next month, and I'm hoping my hubby will come thru with the Amazing to Zany set! He's already called my demo!
Sweet Shapes
Scatter Sunshine Wheel
Rough Around the Edges Wheel
Dry Brush Wheel---can you tell I like jumbo wheels?
Seeing Spots
Aida Cloth BG-something about this BG caught my eye
Circle of Friendship
Cutter Kit
With my hostess bennies, I got the Cool Caribbean "collection"
and the Cranberry Crisp "collection"

Wow, it's funny to see how many of us love that Cranberry Crisp, and Cool Caribbean!

For once I have decided to place small orders throughout the year instead of getting a ton of stuff all at once...that way I can really enjoy each set and play with it a lot instead of being overwhelmed! So my first order will be:

Living Large p. 86 (can't wait to color these!!!!)

Fontastic p. 168 (the sample of Living Large used this as a background and I love it!)

Paisley p. 169

In Color p. 201 a sample set of each color

Can't wait!!!!! The only bad thing about SU is the wait!!

OMG---I got a little carried away, but I wanted so much! I placed it yesterday and got 6 stamp sets, 2 new bg ( paisley and well worn words) 3 new wheels (had to have lily pad and matey's map) and lots of new inks and paper! And to think I didn't get everything I NEED! I know I'm going to have to have some of the new ribbon, brads, and STUFF!

I got the caribbean pad and the cranberry crisp pad. A friend and I each ordered paper in 3 of the new colors and are going to share them. I also ordered the word search bkgd.

The same friend is have a party at the end of the month, so I have some time to decide what to purchase next.

Then I got Cranberry cs, refil, st pd
Finally broke down and ordered a pad of that grid paper. At first I thot it would be a waste, but now realize each piece can really last a long time. Also my first Pearl Ex assortment. Can't wait to play with that.
