Default You know you're addicted to Stamping when...

You buy a shirt because you think the buttons would be the CUTEST embellishments for a swap you joined.

The shirt had ladybug buttons on it which I HAD to have for a ladybug bookmark I'm making for a swap.

Alas! I don't have a gallery. I'm not that good yet.

Happy stamping!

LOL! I meant I'm not good enough with computer stuff to post a gallery.

I don't have a digital camera but I do have a printer that scans. Problem is I have NO idea how to go about getting a scan to cyberspace. I am sooooo computer challenged!

Haven't bought for the buttons, but do you describe your clothes in SU colors---for example, my shirt today is More Mustard. Actually, it's More mustard stamped off. It's a sad little addiction! ha, ha! OH, it's not just clothes, really anything with color now gets described to my stampin' friends in SU colors.

Yes, but only with people who know what I'm speaking about. Otherwise I get the "lady are you kaaarraaaazzzyyy?" look.

I love it! I've seen other things besides shirts and thought they would look good as embellishments. Way to go!

Thanks for the encouragement! You've inspired me - I have attempted my first upload! It's still pending so I'm anxiously awaiting to see how it turned out. http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...0&ppuser=29357

As to describing colors as SU colors - haven't done that yet because I am an avid stitcher and I decribe colors according to DMC floss! 48 colors is rather limited in comparison :P

Happy stamping!

I've actually done the same button thing! Bought something for the buttons to put on something else.

Love that!

You go to the grocery store and are more interested in double sided tape, hair spray, for fixative and anything else you can stamp on. Let's face it ladies, what's more important feeding the family or stamping stuff

I hear you! AndI regularly pick pennies up off the ground and think"I'm gonna make spinner cards someday!" Ceap jewely is great for beads, and around Valentine's Day I was looking at the little strips of paper in Hersey's kisses and wondering what I could do with them!

LOL! It seems I'm not alone. Those are funny!

Okay, here's a scan (yea! I figured out how to do it!) of the bookmark I made with the button on the tassel:
