Yard sale find! So excited!
I was just so excited and my family just doesn't get it so I had to share here! I happened upon a yard sale and thought I'd stop. They had some misc scrapbooking items that caught my eye. I went over to look and they had brand new SU ribbon keepers, all three sizes, never opened for **$1** each!!!!! I had noticed them in the catty before and thought they'd be neat but never purchased them. I bought them and brought them home and looked them up in the catty and I paid $3 for about $50 retail worth of product. Thanks for letting me share!!

congrats on the great find! I never seem to have finds like this! I wish- I'm trying to find a way to store my ribbon now. I think I have an idea but it's just keeping it on the roll as it turns that I am having difficulty with!

YIPPEEEE for you! Doesn't it give you such a rush when you get a deal like that???
I'm unmounting my stamps and found a CD turntable at the local thrift store for $1. It will hold 56 sets of stamps!
If you don't mind a hi jack, let's hear what kind of deals others have found!!! Love those stories!

OK..so I thought that my ribbon keepers were a great deal....I just realized that I got some other super duper deals at that sale too...it just took me longer to realize it! I am more familiar with SU, but I bought some Close to my Heart items too. I came home and looked some of the items up in an old catalog I had stuck away and was AMAZED!.....
I bought 5 brand new wood mounted sets, one was $5 and the others were all $2. (O Canada, It's a Boy, Topiary Garden, Noah's Ark, Groovy Hearts and Ridin Cowboys). From what I could find in the catalog, they range from about $20-32 per set! I bought a glitter stack that retailed for $19 for 50 cents and 2 brand new long Color Box pigment pads that have 8 colors each for 50 cents each. Now I need to find space in my craft room for it all! I ususally never get this lucky either! This was just an extremely lucky day for me. I'd love to hear of bargains that you all have found!

What an awesome find. Don't we all just love a bargain! What on earth would possess someone to purchase all three ribbon holders and then not even open them. How silly for her and great for you.

That's the best. I got SU's retired Snow Globe for $12. I was in shock. When you find those it's AMAZING.

I'm soooooooo jealous! I havent had any luck in garage sales in Oklahoma yet. Someday, I miss the great finds back in Missouri..One time in Minnesota, I went to a garage sale and what led me there was this HUGE sign that read "STAMPING SALE" I was speeding to get there! Got tons of stuff back then..it was fun and exciting for me too. So I know what you are going through.
