Dang, Daven. . . How can we believe that you are working so hard when everytime we see you, you have a BUCKET HAT on, and are the beach????
Don't you have an "I'm a Workin' Man" avatar? Or was that the stern Daven face we used to see?

Seriously - we'll try to be patient. Try. You know how *that* goes. . .

We'll try and be patient but it gets harder and harder to patient when mor and more entities are telling you to be.

And I like the bucket hat far better than the mean face.

Ok, I may be the silliest person but Beate, could you so the tutorial in word and have your own "forum topic" for them? You could attach and we could download?? Just a thought. I don't know exactly how the site works but thought I would give my opinion. I am a collecter and not really a doer of new tutorials and techniques. I love the simple look and so I seem to be stuck with that. So of course I appreciate any and everything!

PLEASE!!!!! Does anyone subscribe to the Technique Junkie Newsletter??
Yes, I do! It's an awesome newsletter filled with techniques that you can put your hands right on w/o searching online galleries for! It's a great supplement to what you find here if you are needing more!
Sorry Pat...I PM'd Susan about her response and didn't think of adding my "yea" for Technique Junkie openly!!!!
Here's the link ladies:http://www.patstamps.com/Newsletter_...ique_List.html Pat also has a scrapbooking newsletter now that incorporates stamping.

Me too! It is awesome. For just $18 you can get a whole years worth of new techniques. You get the step by step instructions with color photos plus access to the website to see wonderful samples and on-line instructions. It's well worth the money and you can access it at anytime.

I personally got the CD with the most recent back issues because there was so much that I didn't know about yet.

I subscribe to the TJ newsletter (and Yahoo group) and think it is worth every penny!!! I have also purchased all the back issues! Love it all. And as an SU! demo I think it is a great "investment".

Just the same, I donated to SCS (BEFORE the Dirty Dozen gallery was released). I also feel that donation was worth every penny as I immensly enjoy veiwing everyone's projects.

I am a Technique Junkie! I learned just about everything I know about stamping from Pat and the Techniques Junkies yahoo group. Then I found this site (a recommendation from a Technique Junkie - thank you JanTink!) which is tons of fun since the discussions are so varied. I'm a Stamping Scrapbooker Junkie too ----see my signature. You ALL need to check it out. Pat's tutorials are awesome. Some are complicated and advanced but every newsletter has Q&E (Quick and Easy) Techniques that are great for personal use and to wow your customers if you are a demo.

I hope no one misunderstood my post about the TJ newsletter! I have heard nothing but awesome things about it. I'm sure that Pat puts in hours and hours gettin' it together The techniques that I've seen from subscribers are absolutely amazing. I wasn't in anyway saying anything negative about it or saying it wasn't worth the money. I'm sure it's worth its weight in gold! I was just trying to support my friend Beate and this site. I know Pat also contributes a lot for free on her site as well, and wasn't trying to say anything negative..... I'm sorry if my post came across that way at all! I'm a HUGE fan of Pat's and her site! She is totally a BOMB!!

Man, I think I'm going to stop posting to the forums.... this sucks! I would never, ever, put someone down...... or intentionally make anyone feel bad. Especially someone who gives so much to our stamping community.

I'm sorry Pat and to anyone else who had their feelings hurt!

I went back and re-read *my* post above after reading a bit of an email I received. I am so sorry that I may have upset Pat with my previous post. I do hope she accepts this public apology, for I never, ever meant to malign her work, or to imply that people should not subscribe to her newsletter.

All that I have seen on Pat's site, and what the TJ subscribers have so willingly shared here has been wonderful, wonderful work. It is evident in the gallery when a fabulous example is posted, and TONS of comments looking for more info and requests for how-tos are posted.

Pat Huntoon has inspired countless stampers with her creations, and wonderful website. Visit www.patstamps.com for more information on her newsletter for a constant and steady stream of technique tutorials.
