Default A word of caution.....

The day after Christmas I went to Michaels and bought (on sale) a Hero Arts set of clear stamps - Owl Christmas. I mainly bought it because there were three little owls in it that could be used for something other than just Christmas cards. This afternoon I opened the package - AND THREE OF THE OWLS WERE MISSING!!! Someone had opened the clear package and taken those owls out! You couldn't tell just by looking at the package because of the print of the owl over the actual stamp. I'm so mad. From now on I WILL check and make sure all the stamps are in the package!!!

Oh my word - I would say I would take it back and explain. As my husband says they can only say no.

I took my mother and an older friend shopping day after Christmas and our friend ended up buying an empty box because she picked it up and the cashier didn't check the contents. She rang them and explained what had happened so it could be worth ringing and speaking to the actual manager about what has happened.

I think it would be worth it too. I had something from Wal-Mart once not show up in the bag. It was rung up but it wasn't in the bag when I got home. I called them and they said come in and get another one. I'm not sure if the checker just it put to the side or what. I can't remember what it was, but I was really suprised they said to just come in.
