Yeah, they are great for New stampers but I wish they would also give the option to purchase the stamps alone. There are a couple I would like but do not need/want the rest of the kit.

Hi Hannah! It is nice isn't it?

I will be saving for a while for all the things I like!---It would be quicker to list what I don't like than what I do.

I need about $350 to get everything I want from the Winter Mini!
  • Love Matters
  • Small Tag Punch
  • Tagger's Dozen
  • Fancy Flexible Phrases
  • Like it a Latte
  • Loves Me
  • Flirty
  • Pocket Notes
  • Big Pieces

Plus, I think some of the kits are cute, but I would never get them because I already have all the ink pads, markers, etc. that they come with.

I am sooooo screwed with this mini!!! I'm *supposed* to be curbing my spending - not increasing it!! Especially since I desperatey want to make-over my stamp room after the 1st of the year!!
Let's see...this is what I *don't* need (shorter list!):
Trees Three, undecided about Like it a Latte, Butterfly of Happiness, Perennial Friendship, the Pocket Notes, Woodland Cottage.
Oh yeah, and the "Simply Sent" kits I think are a bit over-priced. I mean, I like the stamp sets, but I already have most of the rest of the stuff! And considering it's supposed to be enough for what? eight cards?? Just a bit steep.
But I gotta, gotta have the French set, the matching paper and the matching background stamp!!!! OMG!!!!

I WANT IT ALL!!!!!! How's that for restraint? I have to have all of the Carte Postale, background stamp, paper, wheel and what ever else goes with it. I am so wanting to get my hands on this one.

Well, darn, my birthday is not until Sept!!!! But, maybe we can celebrate my conception day this year and THAT would be....December 25!!

I NEED the whole Carte Postale collection, too!

The stamp sets don't bother me as I feel they are for beginner stampers. They may be good for people who don't already own some of the accessories (watercolor crayons, for example) that way they could get a sneak peak. They WILL be awesome for giving someone a gift (can you say "Sister-in-Law"??!!) it will have everything that she needs to get started!!

I think this is probably one of the best minis I've seen yet -- can't wait until I can order. Which I'm sure will be just about everything in it and it will probably be my own workshop!!!!!!

You probably need to update your version of Adobe Acrobat. You can go there for a free download.

I am in so much trouble. Thank you so much for that link!! I am going to start saving my money now!! Everything is just awesome!! I like the kit ideas but I probably won't be buying one. I would rather buy one of the $39.95 stamp sets insead. They are cute and tempting though!!

I am so glad this is the catalog out during SAB! I really need to narrow it down a bit.

I personally think the kits are awesome ideas for brand new stampers, but for me- not happy. I love some of the sets, but I don't want to spend $40. I already have the cardstock, I already have the spots. I just want the stamps.

Great mini!

I agree about the kits.....great for newbies but not me. Just sell the stamp sets separately as well IMHO!

I thnk the prices for the sets are comparable with the other sets in teh big catty-so for me I think they are good! I love the direction that the stamps are taking. I am a "cute" stamper, but really love the large Carte Postal Bg stamp. I think it has a different look than the other BG stamps and I really think it will help *me* move into a more collagey style that I love to see but struggle to work with. I love that SU keeps surprising me with a new style-I think that rocks!

The label tin and Valentine's bg papers are so cute I can barely stand it, LOL. Plus I love sayings sets, and I totally dig the font on the phrases set (the big set with all the little words). The kits are probably not what a lot of veteran stampers here on SCS would gravitate towards-but I will tell you that for NEW stampers at workshops it is a great introduction to the SU products.
Add that to the fact that it is during Sellabration and I think this mini may surpass the Spring Mini-and I thought that one was pretty hard to beat!
