since I make several designs, I have done both.. I have the snowflakes and Ornaments folders.. the Ornament is basically the card, and the snowflakes is being used as a layer.
I have used my CB for some of my cards. I got burned out doing one desgn over and over again so this year I am making different designed cards. I have used all SU stuff on some, some with CB, and some with my Cricut.
I only make one or two each of my Christmas cards. (I get bored easily..) The card I made today uses the SU Linen stamp...
BTW, I think SCS is beyond being touchy about the SU thing here. All is good!!
I agree! So many different companies are talked about in GS! lol
Im a die-hard SU! luva, but I have my big share of 'contraband' too! LOLOL!!
And a LOT of that is Cuttlebug stuff (that I use in my new SU! BigShot machine!) *snort* ;)

my thoughts exactly! ;)
Though I don't know if I will use either...I have the snowflakes, snow dots, and ornaments folders, but not sure if they'll fit into 'my plan'...though I don't have a design - I have a rough idea of what I'd like to do...now to put it to paper...
Why couldn't I have come up with something so simple!! I am using a CB background, oval nesties (2 layers), and a Stampendous image (colored with markers, flocked, liquid appliqued, glittered, and stickled)! You don't have to tell me I'm crazy...I've already figured that out!! heehee!
And I am a SU demo!!! The only thing SU on my card is the paper!!

I usually do ALL the same card......however, this year I'm going to TOTALLY mix it up! I have a few of the newer Christmas CB folders and plan on using them! I have some GREAT new patterned paper by K&Co.that I bought @ my LSS that I plan on using too! And some of the great PP from last year by Basic Grey....
I decided I just wanted to make about 5 of each card this year. I make only about 50 cards, so that'll keep it interesting for me, and I'll be able to complete 5-10 cards each day and that means I'll get them out right after Thanksgiving!
I use both as I don't have a set design for my Christmas cards. Each card is different and however many I end up making is how many people get Christmas cards from us!
I used the Cuttlebug on the one Ive designed so far. CASED it from somewhre of course. they are so simple. I used the little village scene and added some dazzling diamonds and layered it on black and then on a white card. Sooooo simple. I will be using other CB backgrounds also.
I used both. The background stamp is on the envelope (I use a brayer to get it somewhat even) and the CB folder is on the card. I included a copy of the movie to my best-est friends and family!
With so many mentions of CB embossed paper here can I just jump in and ask someone to tell me about them. I am new to stamping and just got the BS...LOVE IT! I keep seeing the Swiss dots pattern on cards I love but was looking in the Sizzix section of Michael's for it with no luck and now am thinking it is something from CB? I want to do textures but don't like any of the plates in the Sizzix texture starter kit. What do I need and where should I get it?
And don't throw stones, but I just bought my photo cards online. No way was I going to make 150 hand stamped cards. I did stamp a bird on all the envelopes though.

Heehee - this made me giggle. I don't blame you for not wanting to make that many cards!
I used two different Cuttlebug folders to make my cards this year. Due to budget cuts, I had to choose something I already had on hand instead of ordering a new set.

Awesome card/envelope! May I send you my address?
I made some christmas cards for a local swap and I love the CB and also the background stamps...but for this card I actually used the Scandinavian wheel as a background. ;) You can use both...

I'm with Joan! I can't make more than about 3 or 4 cards of the same or I get totally bored. Everytime I stamp a card for a challenge lately I have been trying to make it Christmas so I can kill two birds with one stone;)
I have used my CB folders in my Big Shot but I use a variety of stuff.
