Who's waiting for a Demonstrator Starter Kit? I am today!
Mine is scheduled to arrive today sometime. Yes I am excited! Usually my UPS guy doesn't deliver until late, later afternoon/early evening, ughhh. So I thought it would be fun to keep busy with others as they wait.
At 9:55 a.m. a UPS truck whizzed right by my house, oh how cruel:( .
I plan on keeping busy by cleaning my house and maybe making some Chocolate chip cookies.
Congratualtions! When and how did you mail in the paperwork? They seem to be pretty quick, I mailed my paperwork last Tuesday Priority Mail and they had it Thursday and by Thursday night I had recieved 3 or 4 emails and my number and password and if I remember correctly my kit was packed and out the door by Friday.

I just can't imagine how excited you are. Well, yes I can. Get those cookies made because you will NOT want to do them when you get all of your new "toys". When I got mine, it was on Christmas eve. Yep, best Christmas ever.
Yeah I am cleaning house cause I may never do that again! Oh and it really need it, not to mention I had to get my dining room table all cleared off so I have a place to spread out!
Gee wish the UPS tracking would give an estimated time or update with getting closer!
I sent it yesterday Priority Mail with Delivery confirmation:mrgreen: I doubt it will be there today, let alone processed today, but it's wishful thinking! I can dream right! I've got to go home tonight and finish straightening up my bonus room. That's where my scrap area is and I'll probably use it for my open house in a few weeks! I guess I need to move all the toys and baby gear downstairs....
UPS is still not showing it as being delivered! Of course - once it does show - then I am going to be miserable because I am here at work and my goodies are at home.

Man I can't wait any longer! I have even cleaned the family room, if I clean any more house today I will go insane. And the chocolate chip cookies are in the process of cooking right now. It is 3:00 here.
4:10 and nothing, this is killing me, I bet UPS makes their lastest stop here every today! I remember one time I was waiting for something during the winter and after it got dark I gave up, then I just happend to let the dog out at 6:30 and there was my package!
So What I had planned on getting cleaned up in the house is, the majority of the living area. The Chocolate Chip cookies are all done. I don't feel like doing anything else, I want my kit (stomping feet). I got all that stuff cleaned up so I could just play with my kit when it arrived and not feel guilty! Even my 2 1/2 year old is down sleeping. Well guess Dh and the kids will be alone to figure out dinner cause that is probably about the time my kit arrives.
Anyone else get theirs yet?

Man finally at 4:30! Think I scared the UPS, man as I popped out of the door just as he was reaching for the door bell!
Well I have laid everything out and checked off from the packing list! Next up time to dig in!

Think I am going to need an ambien to sleep again tonight all the excitement, I don't know which thing to start with!

So what are your plans today with your new demo kit? I am going to get all my sets cut out. And then stamp a few cards and come up with two make and takes I can use if I can get any friends to come over this Saturday. Oh and I plan on lovelying staring at everything a lot!

Tonight I am meeting to sign my first recruit. So, last night I went through and pulled paperwork together and got her gift ready - I had a catalog bound - got the idea here!
I also watched the recruiting DVD since I have never seen it.
It was soooo fun doing my inventory. It just kept coming and coming. I felt like it was Christmas. Can't wait to stamp.
Can't tonight - what a bummer.

I just got confirmation that they have received my paperwork! YEAH! Now the countdown to getting my number, shipping my kit, and receiving my kit! I'm SO stoked! Once I get my number I can apply for the demo forum right?

A recruit all ready that is amazning, I don't even know when I expect to see any recruits, hadn't really thought of recruits in my scheme. But with that said I will take recruits with open arms, when I emailed my demo about a month ago and told her I was ready, she emailed it to her upline (our old demo) as a problem that I wanted to sign up! Gee like I hadn't wanted to for the last 1 1/2 years. Ummmm I signed up under another demo completely.

You are on the same time line as me only a week later, so by next week wednsday you could have your kit too! Yes as soon as you get your Demo number you can apply to the demo forum, not to mention start cruising the Stampin' Up! Website!

WAH! Still no e-mails! I keep checking, but I don't want to seem TOO anxious - you know the whole being at work thing! My upline said she'd call this morning and get the info for me.... So I'm waiting for either e-mail :(
I'm waiting too and by the looks of it I'm going to have to truck through the weekend and keep myself distracted since my shipment is due to arrive on Tuesday! Eeks, I'm soooo excited! Christmas in August is the BEST!
Okay so today, Saturday, I decided to have an impromto come see the wonderful things I got in my kit get together with some girls I know. I just got my kit Wednsday, so not a lot of notice and a lot couldn't come cause they were going on trips this weekend, so as of yesterday afternoon I had one taker. Well I thought about it and decided, well fine I will just have one person. Someone to practice on! Then this morning at the 11th hour another girl called at wanted to know if she could come her plans had changed, I said absolutely.
So with me and two girls I let them ooooh and aaaaah everything, pick out what set they wanted to use and made some cards. The one has been doing this and the other one is kind of new. And even though I said up front no orders were necessary, they both made $20 orders! WoooooooHoooooo my first sales! And they left enthusiastic, the newbie will definetly come to my Big Kick Off and so will the other and she asked if she could let friends know about it, of course!
Yeah I am so proud of myself, can you tell.
