Besides the really obvious DDD ladies (who are all so talented ~ deep deep curtsey here!) I love to see work from:

JoyofStamping
Jami
Jovi
Iris
StarlitStudio
Pinefeather
Sparklinbecks
Sharon Worley

**edited because I forget EllenH!! Smackin' self in head!! EllenH is such an awesome lady, and soooo talented!! **

There are many others (dostamping, happyheart, carolina) already mentioned that are just incredible talents.

I just love love love to admire the gallery every day. Now...if only I could get speedy internet at home....I'd never leave this site!!

I wish there was a way that we could bookmark our favorite artists in our favorites folder, so that we could go directly into their gallery. Does anyone have an easy way to do this?

When you go into your favorites folder you can just click on the item you have saved and then click on the link next to their name and that will bring you to their gallery... or you can add a favorites link in your internet browser... Just title it something like Sereikastampers Gallery and the address would be www.splitcoaststampers.com/go/sereikastamper
Just put whatever user you love after the /go/ hope that Helps

Thanks, I'll try clicking their gallery link. I thought about putting them in my favorites but there are soooo many. I was hoping there was some way to keep a list of them in our favorites folder.

You could just create a folderFor the links in your internet browser..then they would all be neat and tidy and just a click away...

I cant' believe how generous and wonderful everyone here has been with their compliments. Thank you all!!!! I found this site over the holidays and think it's the best out there. And I can say that I've spend alot of time on the web searching SU samples. I've seen hundreds of the most beautiful samples from many different stampers and am in awe of all of you. Stamping is my passion and has gotten me through some very difficult times.

Let's try this again, I posted once already after looking at all the names in my overflowing favs file, and then the system clogged down and now the post is gone

So, while I'm not sure any posters are hidden as we all put our creations, our hearts and souls, out for review from all you wonderful, talented stampers, the following is my list of personal favs, although I am pretty sure there are many that I've neglected to save and can't remember the artist. So I will preface it by saying I love all that have mastered dtp, collage, aging, expressionist watercolor, and almost anything floral!

So here goes, in no particular order, and I'm sure too short of a list!

Michelle Wooderson
jbalcer
Cambria
Beate
debbie designs
lisalisa
emilymomto3boys
princessink29
michellenstamps

Dartella
leslierich
Michelle Laycock

I am terrible about noticing the names that go with the cards--I'm always too busy enjoying the artwork, but I have to say there is not a single time that I go into the gallery and don't say "Wow, that is great" a bunch of times! Thanks for the new names to check out, I'm sure there are a ton of others on here that are super, duper artist, but well hidden!!

This site is so inspiring - there are SO MANY TALENTS here, and what is so wonderful is the sharing aspect of this community!

I have learned so much since joining here - the sharing of templates, etc. - it is beyond wonderful.

One thing I love, is seeing Cambria's comments. They crack me up - I told my DH the other day one of her quotes and he just didn't get it but I couldn't stop laughing.

It was "WICKED COOL BEANS BABY!". You must understand my DH is from Georgia and they don't say the word 'wicked' unless you are in church. LOL!

The other upload that is stuck in my head was Beate's upload of the Paint Prints swap - all her swap cards were lined up perfectly out to dry and that photo was beautiful. The card itself is gorgeous too.

OK, first off I am NOT looking to have my gallery listed to anyone's favorites...it's not too exciting as I haven't had time to be creative lately with life as it is in our household, BUT.....I think some people are going to feel slighted by this "name" listing....most who have been named are among the most popular on the site and are truly not hidden talent (as they are listed on most everyone's list!)!!
It can be time consuming to upload your creations to your gallery, making some people's galleries not as popular because they are not updated regularly. The whole gallery is full of wonderful creativity. I am not being a goody-two-shoes either....I don't think anyone meant to leave anyone else out by making lists or am I trying to start something. I just read another thread where someone mentioned feeling sad about their creations not having very many comments and not being listed on anyone's favorite list. Again, I don't think she was looking for pity either, just being careful about other's feelings!
Maybe for every post of humor, or everyday chit chat we could also leave some comments in the gallery....or maybe the comments should just be done away with and we could just see the number of people who had looked at our card and feel good that so many browsed through our creations! I'm always amazed at that number!

Anyways, for what good it's worth...that's my two cents! SCS'rs are the best! Thanks for all your help and creativity!

I am FLABBERGASTED that someone mentioned me....Karen you are a doll baby!
I am guilty of not looking at names when I am looking at the art as well.
Awestruck is the word I use to describe most of the art that I see. My favorites list is HUGE!
Of course everyone in the DD gallery is amazing but we already knew that!
Karen or kayinrd has an amazing and HUGE gallery. I was amazed how much art she uploaded.
I am terrible because I don't upload all my creations. I only upload maybe a quarter of them.
What I have started doing is if I notice someone new in the forums, I just type www.splitcoaststampers.com/go/then their username

some don't have galleries and some do but when they do I am usually flabbergasted.

Okay I am rambling...again...GREAT THREAD.

I have been very inspired to check out more galleries! It's funny that when I first found this site, all I did was check out the latest additions and hardley ever went into the forums....now....Oh my goodness.....I've turned into a chatty cathy and hardley ever check out today's gallery! I'm been missing out on some great work!!!

I don't want anyone to feel bed. The intention of this thread was for me to get some help finding some galleries that I was not aware of. I have found out some really cool galleries to look at. Ones I never knew about. (And I am on this site a lot!) I am super excited about that.

If people are offended that someone does nice work and is sharing it and people like it, there is nothing we can do about that. People are not directly insulting them. I personally was surprised that I was listed among some of these favorites. However I was not insulted by those who did not list me. I asked for opinions. True and honest ones.

Everyone is in a different place in their stamping abilities. I personally want to be like Cami, Jenn and Lana when I grow up! They all have different styles. Yes.... they are not hidden talents. That’s why I had not mentioned them before. But like I said before.... there were a lot that I had not known of......... That was the purpose of this thread!

I personally wouldn't want a complement that was not genuine and just there to make me feel good. That would make me not trust ANY of the complements I was given.

I hope people will keep sharing who they think are the hidden talents..... I have been shown some great galleries that I was not aware of!!!

I love it when people comment on my stuff!!! Even if it isn't every single person who looks at it. I didn't post anything in a gallery for the longest time for 4 reasons:

1: I'm new to stamping (March '04)
2: There used to be a rating system on a scale of 1 to 10.
3: Uploading can sometimes be a difficult thing
4: It takes a lot of guts to post something

I'm so happy the grading scale is gone, but really like the fact we can post replys to peoples pictures. I've been trying to post something every time I look at someones pictures.

The first time I posted a card, I was sooooooo nervous, and really didn't expect ANY comments back, because I'm not that experienced yet. But the people that have commented have had nothing but nice to say, and that encourages me to post more and create more!!

As for the people that might feel slighted because they aren't mentioned, it doesn't mean people don't like your stuff. With all the people on this site and all the people who have galleries, and all the lurkers lurking, someone, somewhere will like something you do even if they don't tell you on this thread or in your gallery.

I don't think anyone intentionally means for anyone to feel anything but encouraged and creative on this site, which is why I keep coming back and why sooooo many people have joined recently. SCS ROCKS!!!

This is not a flame to Rebekah.

I am not listed as anyones favorite and I am not boo hooing about it. I would not expect to be. There is SO much talent on here!

I think Lisa started a great thread. I mean we all LOVE LOVE LOVE the DD. And they ALWAYS have tons of replies under their work. and I have seen a few of them post that they do not get to read each and every compliment because they get so many. So why not give some "exposure" to others? I know I try to comment on every card I view. It's been a bit harder lately with the site speed being slow. But I know that each comment I receive is so encouraging. SO in Lisa's defense I think she was trying to promote the "underdogs". I personally thought it a bit strange when people listed DD....because that was not what Lisa requested.

And as adults I thought we would all understand that we are not going to get invited to every party and be everyones best friend.

Just MY Opinion. We all have them.

I agree with all that prhansen has mentioned....but I thought this was an especially good point. My friend is big into the Simply Sentiment (magazine) board and she has told me that on their they will point out things that aren't "right" about your card! Such as "Your image is crooked". That shocked me! I mean I critisize my own work enough, I don't need someone else telling me my bow isn't right or whatever!!
So what I am saying is that here on SCS everyone is SO positive and encouraging! It has made me feel SO much more confident and encouraged me to try harder. And to work out of my "comfort zone". I really don't think that anyone here ever TRIES to make someone feel bad here. I try to stick with the old saying "If you don't have anything nice to say...don't say anything at all"

I hope people will keep sharing who they think are the hidden talents..... I have been shown some great galleries that I was not aware of!!!
I think this is a great thread for finding HIDDEN TALENTS and I for one am glad that you started it (although I'm sorry if some feelings were hurt). When I initially replied (on page 1) - I didn't list every single one of my favorites because I didn't feel some of them were "HIDDEN". Obviously the DDD girls are everyone's favorites but it is the lesser known galleries that I think you were looking for.

Several that others have posted are new ones to me and for that I'm excited - because now I have some new favorites that before were a hidden talent to me.

I'm not sure if she is has been mentioned yet but "PRETTYLIKESUN" has cards that can be great cards to demo.

I see cards by new people everyday that I love. I think some people get on a roll and then you notice their names b/c there will be like 12 great cards from them in one day, and others are like a wonderful waves that regularly pop in with beautiful work.
I have been here for over a year, and I can say that EVERY TIME I go in the gallery I see awesome work by people that are relatively new to the site or have names I don't recognize. I must admit I don;t have a favorites gallery or spot where i save cards I like-I usually just go back hunting for them! LOL

I appreciate all who post and upload. I can safely say I get daily inspiration from the artists on the board. I will also say that b/c of the speed it is taking a lot longer to post comments-so don't be discouraged!! I have had MANY cards with no comments but MONTHS later someone will check it out and leave a comment-which I think is so sweet!

We all like praise and want to feel like part of the group...it's human nature. I personally don't expect my name to be on the list because I don't have much in my gallery and haven't posted anything in a while. I'm still fairly new at stamping, so my work doesn't 'stand out' from the rest...some day maybe?

Am I upset that my name wasn't listed?...no. Would I have felt great if it was?? Sure! But I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it!

WOW... thanks everyone who tossed in my name! Makes me feel good and I do read the comments on my cards and appreciate each one! I do also try and leave comments as much as I can in the gallery (before I am distraced by one of my kiddos). Most days, I can't get through the entire gallery... especially since there are SO many now. I get TONS of inspiration from this site and everyone's work! Especially with the site so slow lately, people just dont' have the time to leave a comment, but still appreciate your work. You can bet if you share your work... someone will get inspired by it in some way!! It's always nice to leave a comment if you can... I know it always makes my day!

Let's all try to do that.... if you click on it, then comment baby!! You can always just say.... cool wicked freakin beans baby!!! I think we shall start a forum of cool comments to leave for bombalicious cards. I will tell Big Daddy this is a must (like he listens to me!) You can just type in HJB.... that is a comment!!

Have a great day all you cool freaking wicked bombs!!

Thanks all....I definately was not bo-hooing, just felt like some had their feelings hurt....but like you have mentioned we all have our opinion. I don't usually express mine too vocally, especially in writing because it never does seem to come across right!! And today I was grumpy...SCS was so slow and it was taking forever to load pages, etc....I only have dial-up!

Now, off to catch up with SCS at the speed of lighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always save my fave's galleries as a bookmark in my browser -- I've started a whole folder just for Splitcoast galleries! This was a great topic, BTW. I've found several new galleries to add to my growing collection of favorites!
