Who has the most stamps?
Somewhere, on some message board yesterday, there was a post with a link to a blog where this woman showed pics of her stamp room. Floor to ceiling bins filled with thousands (I'm assuming) of stamps. I wanted to show someone, but I can't track it down.
So, I'm asking...who has the most stamps you've ever seen, and do you have photographic proof? Post your own photo, or a link to a blog that makes your jaw drop!

I do not have the most by a long shot.
The last I heard Suze Weinberg had 10,000 (Ten Thousand) But, that was a few years ago.
It was a fun article, published by The Rubber Stamper, I believe . . . I do not have any pictures, as I don't know Suze Weinberg personally. Mebbe a google would turn up images of her collection that she herself has taken, tho?
I believe she has reduced her collection since then (?); she realized that on occasion she was buying duplicates of stamps she already had--which didn't surprise me, if she had 10,000! ....................
I think she also made reference to the fact that she wanted to narrow down, to because she and her husband were moving into a new home, and she wanted to focus on her Melting Pot work with Ranger, etc. That may have been in a later article, tho. I remember seeing her studio--beautiful!

Yah, I wish I could find the link I saw yesterday, it was AMAZING. I was jealous, not only of the supplies, but the whole big space she had. LOL!

Ok, so this room may not have the MOST stamps but it's still amazing! You can roll over the picture to get bigger pictures and more details of what's in her drawers!

I know the room you are talking about. I saw it about a month or so ago, and I have no idea where to find it either. As I recall, there were kind of aisles to walk down between the stamp storage drawers.

I would be too overwhelmed with all the choices to get any work done. I would be exhausted by the time I found what I wanted. I need to show this to my dh though, he thinks I have alot!!

Wow!! It's very overwhelming. I don't think I would be creative at all in that room. She must really love stamping...or shopping....

Could you imagine the time and $$$ in EZ mount that it would take to unmount that massive amount of rubber goodness????? Then again, with the $$$ invested in the iris carts, I don't think that would be an issue. Holy Cow-a-rama.

I like the thought of having that many stamps. Don't like the idea about having to keep track of them or trying to find something when in the mood for a specific project.
Really, really, really like the size of her room. The one I am currently in have windows on two walls and two doors on one wall. Only gives me on regular wall. Unfortunately that wall is a short wall and the open door takes up part of that.
*dreams about that big open space in the basement just ready to be converted, but which isn't close to the top of the list of things to get done*
*sigh*

I've been told my stamp collection is excessive as I have over a 1000 ...... I feel so much better now that maybe I am not such a shopaholic.

I keep that link handy for those days I get the "eyeroll" when "another" box shows up.
Of course, he then says "well, you know, it's not a competetion, you don't have to try and pass her"
Oh well....

I wouldn't know where to start. Wouldn't it be fun to be able to have access to all that? If she ever has a garage sale, I hope she posts it here first. I'd take a road trip for some of those goodies. I'm still trying to get my few bins organized.

But where is her ink? I saw paper, stamps, Xyron, cutters but no ink. Hmm.
I couldn't function in that, just way to many things & choices. I awesome she has the stamps indexed in some way; I'd spend hours just looking through the index to figure out what stamp I might want to use.
