Who has the best flourishes stamps?
Confession time: I don't like the SU! set Finest Flourishes too much, so I'm looking to find some others. I really like the Autumn Leaves ones, but I'm not too excited about the fact that they are clear and I need to buy the block too.
So please tell me oyur favorites.

TAC has a cute flourises stamps set. It is unmounted but they are rubber so you could mount them on wood I'm sure. Just thought I'd mention it.

Rhonna Farrer. I just found my Swirls set after 3 months. It was safely tucked between bookcases!! I used it with Stazon Opaque white and it was beautiful. Looks just like some of the ones made on window sheets in the French Flair Gallery.

By the way still want Rhonna Farrer Flourishes. I also saw some brand new stuff from Lil Davis. Clear sets from her Crillon collection and Gel a Tins Build your own Flourish.

I have the Autmn Leaves swirls and a flower set and love them. So far they stamp really well. I've used dark ink as well as a grey for the swirls as background. Bought mine at AC Moore. Didn't use a coupon. Just had to have them.

As IMBlessed5 mentioned there is a great set by TAC in the Fall Supplement...and, for Jubilee, they are bringing out a new set called Artsy Elements as a hostess set. It's a must have! I just finished using it on my Christmas cards.

Pictures please. I just love the sound of it.
I did get my Swirls with a coupon. Though the darn store is in MD and I am in TX. No AC Moore around here. I've been meaning to call them and find out if they have the Flourishes set.

I've had my eye on the Whirlygig set from Technique Tuesday for months now. It was at the top of my flourishes set list until I saw Rhonna Farrer's flourishes #2 set.

Well I have both of the Rhonna Farrar flourishes sets and love 'em both. I also have that TT Whirlygig set and like it a lot -- not quite as much as the Rhonna Farrar sets though . . . it feels more formal to me I think. But dang it! Now I think I might need that TAC set!

Glad you like it!!
This one is a "doosie" to earn because it's a level C set so it's for a $500 party. BUT!! With a show like that during Jubilee all the guests would get double free stamps for every $30 increment they spent...and the hostess would get two level A sets, two level B sets and two level C sets. Plus 11 half priced items. So its a challenge but a reachable one...if you've got some stamping buddies!
The other possibility is that this will be so popular, it will be in the next catalog released so there is hope!!

I'll just chime in here and say that BOTH flourishes sets have been VERY well-received! I've also seen the first one used sooooo many different, beautiful and fun ways already. I'm anxious to see what everybody does with the second one (hostess set). Even though I've got it, it's sooooo very pretty that I haven't cut it up yet. I know...silly me...and I'm NEVER like that, but for some reason I'm being goofy this time! Oh well...sigh... ;-)

Not a stamp set, but I love the rub-ons by Basic Grey that are swirls. I haven't been able to bring myself to open my first pack of them yet, much less use one of them, but they're cute!

you could always use a flat bottomed glass, or part of a cd case to use as a stamping handle with the clear polymer stamps. Otherwise, you can get an acrylic block with a coupon at one of the big craft stores (m's, j's). I think Walmart has them too. I have the Autumn Leaves flourishes in my collection

I look at the acrylic blocks as an investment b/c once you get them you will not have to replace them. You can then use them for any acrylic or TAC set that is out there!
I am in agreement with the Basic Grey rubons GORGEOUS! I too keep looking at them and haven't found anything worthy of actually rubbing them off onto ;)

Yes you could use anything with a smooth flat surface. a Glass, Tic tac container, You can even use your wood blocks as long as it has a smooth surface to it!
You just can't see through it!
Acrylic blocks are Awesome!
I have two set's The 1st set I got in first TAC order.
Then purchased my other ones in a couple of different orders.
I started buying extra's for workshops.
We carry all sizes of Acrylic blocks. Single's and in set's.
We have 2 large set's and 1 mini Set.

Anything Basic Grey has got to be great! ;) I still have paper packs that I can't bring myself to cut up... but that's why a rubber stamp is so great because you can use it again and again! :-D If you can have both, even better!!

Check out these:
http://www.firecrackerdesignsbypamela.com/Doodles.html
They are unmounted.
Unfortunately, today is the last day you can order them for 2006 shipping....But you could use your Christmas $$ in the New Year!
