Where'd these icons on the thread titles come from?
All of a sudden I see Unity stamp icons and Sugar Nellie icons next to peoples thread title on this forum page. When did that start? What's it for? What does it denote?

Oh cool that's neat, I never go down to forums, for no other reason than laziness. So it'll be nice to see what they are all saying. And I am quite sure it will get more people shopping from the MC's.

Ok I'm probably going to be in the minority, but I don't care for it. I like scanning down the list of posts and I don't want to see what I consider an advertisement. Better placement would be at the right margin. Sorry, but I get enough advertisements as it is and I do like the sponsorship, but it's a bit much.

good idea on the right margin thing, we'll definitely consider that for a quick tweak. a little embarrassed I didn't think about that actually :^)
thanks for the feedback, give it a little time and if it's truly unpopular there wouldn't be any reason to keep them.
you should see the threads listed with little graphic badges in front of some of them. if you don't see that try reloading the page while holding down the Shift key on your browser. if you *still* don't see it, I'm stumped :^)

thanks for your reply.
after reading your announcement i will have to agree that the MCs are a bit isolated in their own forums.
i know there was a lot of complaining about all the chatter for certain companies filling the general stamping forums but 'out of sight, out of mind' i think.
i also like the idea of the icon being moved to the right side.
personally i don't have a problem with the idea. aren't we all here to share/enable! LOL

Great idea. After a while I started to feel like an intruder if I went to the MC forums since they all seem to know each other. This will help people like me.
I vote for moving the icon to the right as well. I do visit those forums occasionally but new location for postings will not really prompt me to read them any more than before.
I like the idea, as I don't always have time to get over to the MC forums. With that said, I also vote for moving the icon to the right. Thanks Daven!!

will they always stay on the first page of the forum?
i just noticed that at the bottom of the page there are several with the last one having the last post 10 hours ago, but when you go to page 2 of the forum it starts off with threads having the last post just 4 hours ago.
if they don't 'fall in line' with the other threads (time wise) it won't take long for the first page to be full of just MC threads... KWIM

maybe i am just missing something...
I bet that's a glitch. There are a few glitches in the system. As of now, MFT and Gina K. Designs isn't even working so stop down and see us too! LOL!
I'm sure if we give it a few days, they will fix that and it will fall off the front page along with the others.

I am not a fan. I do not see the point of having posts show up in more than one forum. If all the posts from the member company forums show up in General Stamping, then what was the point of creating those special forums?
I understand the reasoning for putting the threads there but I don't personally care for it. When you have things in that area like QOTD, I don't see what it has to do with General Stamping (would have been better in a different thread). Could we have a feature where we could personally choose how we sort the threads and sort them to the bottom of the pile if we wish?

I think this new feature makes the whole of SCS feel more connected and like a family.
Now members don't have to go anywhere besides the GS forum to see what's up in other parts of SCS if they don't want to.
(though I can't imagine since SCS has a million wonderful little nooks and crannies to explore)
Also, some people may not even know of the MC Forums so this is another opportunity for them to see what's new or what they have to offer.
