I'm from Texas, on the Gulf Coast where it looks like rain today! Sounds like a day to stamp

I just recently found out I live in central coastal Texas, on the margin of the big flood plain that extends down to the coast and Galveston. Someone mind letting me know where Texas is according to this poll? To me it's south central but that isn't listed.

East Texas is really not the southwest, but it is not the southeast either. Maybe southcentral?

When I lived in central texas we considered it southwest. When I lived in East Texas we considered ourself "gulf coast" but I think of texas as a southwest state (just because I don't think of it as a southern one)

I agree; it is considered the southwest. Definately not the deep south, but it is such a large area that those in Eastern Texas are not the same bred as those in West Texas. I guess it might have a category all for itself. Ha!! Gotta love it.

Left off the Gulf Coast. That is really more indicative of what we are where I live.

Being in Alaska, I suppose you could say I'm in the northwest, but since the military and many others consider us "overseas," I think it's safe eto assume that folks don't think of Alaska when they hear the term northwest!
I voted for "Hey, you forgot me!"

What's a 'fly over' state?
I think we need a separate/seperate (I can never spell that word) poll for Texas and Canada.
I never would have thought of Alaska as 'overseas'!
I just learned a whole bunch and probably showed how much I don't know! tee hee

I guess I also considered a new catagory , one for Texas, it seems South Central to me too. LOL But I think of El Paso, Tx as southwest.

Canada is a large country. We are in Toronto which is only 90 miles from Buffalo, NY or 30 miles if you fly over Lake Ontario. We are about 200 miles from Detroit Michigan.

Yup, Canada is huge! I'm in central Canada. Manitoba. Heart of the prairies. Watch your dog run away for a week. We measure distance in time here LOL 2 hours from North Dakota, 6 hours from Minneapolis. 4 days from Florida LOL

Texas and Alaska are such big states they should have a category just for themselves! Ha Ha, I can say that as I am a native Texan married to an Alaskan and we live about half-way now!
I an waving "Hi" SandyH, we ought to get together and stamp someday, I hope all is well with you, neighbor!
