Default Where to find retired MFT products

I have two My Favorite Things products that I have been trying to find. I am looking for the Warmest Wishes stamp (A little girl in coat, hat, mittens and boots holding out her coat to catch snowflakes) and the camper die-namic die. I have been looking for these two items for many months and find they are sold out everywhere I can think of, and I haven't found them on EBay. Is there a source I may be missing? Thanks for any help you can provide!

You can post an ISO (in search of) thread in the BST forum here.

Also, I usually check etsy for retired items, too. It's really pretty hit or miss compared to eBay, but sometimes you get lucky.

I don't know if they have them, but sometimes the smaller stores have them that are not chain stores such as Franticstamper.com try some of those kinds of stores that carry a variety of lines?

I just had this with 3 memory box dies and I emailed them. 2 are truly gone so it's gonna be ebay....and the other one-the only store they know with it still in Australia.

Anyway-sometimes the mfgs know where they sold things to. Try asking MFT.

Thanks for the idea! I did order from MFT yesterday and included this question with my order. They did not know of any place that had them, but it was worth a try. It looks like I will just have to cross my fingers that someone will grow tired of their stamps and dies and put them on EBay. Thanks for the great tips!

Moving forward I have learned to buy MFT and not wait if I want an item. When they retire an item it seems to be with very little warning and they sell fast when stores do still have some stock.

Check Amazon too. And I have just simply googled a stamp with the company name and small stores with it may pop up.

They seem to have it at Crafter's Corner:
Bb Warmest Wishes - Stamp | Bb-09 | My Favorite Things Mft

They're in India. I've never heard of them before, but they have it.

Amazon and Marker Pop have the die in stock:
Amazon.com: My Favorite Things Warmest Wishes: Arts, Crafts & Sewing
My Favorite Things Die-namic Set - BB Warmest Wishes | MarkerPOP.com

If I absolutely, desperately wanted a stamp and couldn't find it, I know what I would do. I would go to Google images, and visit the pages of the people who made the cards using that set. Wouldn't hurt to message them to let them know you'd be interested in buying that set from them when/if they get tired of it. It could be like with SU, once a set's retired the person moves on to the new stuff. Ya never know.

Before anything I'd definitely ask in the ISO thread here on SCS, of course.

The stamps from India are not authentic MFT stamps; this company is stealing copyrighted images and selling them as the real thing.

My Virus Scan would not even let me open their site yesterday. I guess that explains why.

I would like to find this stamp, but I am not desperate to find it. I had planned to buy it on my next trip to my local stamp store but it was out of stock. I should have looked around at that time, but it just caught me off guard that no one would have it.

I'm sure someone will grow tired of their stamp and sell it somewhere. I don't know if anyone else is like me, but when I can't get something I then seem to want to find it more!! Thanks for all of the great ideas to find retired products!
