Can someone please let me know when it comes out?

SU Holiday mini catalog
I wish it came out a little earlier. Not everyone is thinking Christmas but I love the Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive combo. But there is no Cherry Cobbler ribbon and I'd like to see what else they have available before starting my cards.

*Disclaimer* I am NOT a demo. But someone kindly told me a few things from what they know.
There is cherry cobbler seam binding, not ribbon exactly.
There is fabric!
There is a real vintage-y feel to the stamps and DP. And a lot of Halloween if you're into that. Some lovely Christmas products apparently.

Yum, Cherry Cobbler for Christmas cards! I never think Christmas cards until October, but these are great ideas!

It's not that I'm trying to rush the season but I have severe (ragweed) allergies and will be staying inside most of August and September. I could get some serious things done then.
Thanks for the hints!!! I love Halloween! The holiday mini is full of stuff and either I can't afford it or tell myself I have enough Christmas/Halloween. All of which is true!!

Since SU didn't put a whole lot of NEW holiday stuff in the big catalog, I wish they would rethink the timing of the Mini.
It seems lots of folks like to get a jump on their Christmas cards and even Halloween cards or treat boxes, party favors etc. Having the mini come out Sept. 1st seems late for anyone who could really get started in July or August.
I know there are always sets and DP I really want in the mini so I hold off buying any new holiday stuff from other companies until I get my hands on that mini! And then by the time you put an order in....and SCHOOL has started so September is always a little crazy until the household gets back into some sort of routine.....you can lose a good month of crafting time!!
I'm just saying. I wish the holiday mini became available to order from no later than AUGUST 1st. It's tough having to wait until mid-September to get down to some serious holiday paper crafting.

I totally agree!! By the time an order gets placed in September and you get the order back, it is usually mid October (ordering from a group).
I will probably order from someone on line and not wait for my group. I'm thinking of getting out of my group because there is no speed with the orders and if I can't get to a meeting, that is a further delay.

I too had a kind friend show me the mini and i'm going to be getting a lot from it! That always seems to be the way with the holiday minis every year so once again i haven't been let down. I was disappointed with the holiday paper in the catalogue but am super excited about the one set in the mini.

It's very good, IMO! But I'm a sucker, lol!
I agree that it might be nice to start in in Aug but I highly doubt SU will ever do that since the new big IBC comes out July 1, KWIM? Now, if maybe they moved that up to June....
It is kind of late for some to start which is why I'm excited to pre order on Aug 1 although I'll soon get very busy with work, boo! I haven't even gotten my order from July 1 (Monday, hooray!) and I've planned out my first mini order (and am working on another order for the next day or two as well....yes, my name is Mindy and I have an SU addiction), LOL! The mini is pretty big which has been the trend lately and oh it's going to be hard on my bank account! I think I sort of miss the "small" minis, LOL!

That's true. The seam binding and fabric are very pricey for what you get. Honestly, I'd take your paper to the fabric store and see if you could match it first. A lot of the stamps are vintage feeling and there are the usual cutesy sets for the holidays that you see every year.

I hope there will be Halloween & Christmas DSP in Mini. The pack of each in the new IBC didn't entice me.

If you'd like to order AUg 1 ... there is a way ... join SU!
Then you could see the mini now ... and order Aug 1.
Or ... write to SU! ( [email protected]) and tell them your concerns!

I managed to get a sneak peak of the Holiday Mini...I am truly not trying to sound mean or negative but Whoaa, this mini is a huge disappointment. I always order lots from the Holiday Mini as it usually has loads of goodies. But this one???? Can't find a thing - off the record, some of the demos said they were embarrassed to show this mini...thank heavens the big catty still has good holiday stamps etc. On the positive side - SU should have thought to do some more up-to-date things using the great new color combos. Instead the stuff is dark and "old" looking. Will start shopping elsewhere for my new holiday papercrafting.

I wish the demos who are embarrassed to show this mini would send their customers to me. I'm EXCITED to show it! I think it is wonderful!

Wow, really. I haven't heard of a single demo that was embarrassed by it. In fact, I've heard only good things. Hmmm. Maybe you saw an old mini. Did you double check the date?

I'm thinking that the demo who didn't like it is more into contemporary, not vintage of which there is a good percentage. I think it is all a matter of personal taste, it isn't a great mini, it isn't a bad mini, it is if it contains things you like! Personally, I excited to see it given what I already know.

It does have a lot of vintage and I'm really into vintage. It just struck me as stuff I've seen before. Granted, I've been stamping for a long time and have tons of stamps, so I'm a bit skewed... The Holiday Mini is ALWAYS my favorite. This one is so-so. I think I'm just stylistically moving on from SU. Speaking of which, there are some Kitchen Sink stamps that are calling my name. Off to look at them again!

My demo showed it to me today, and I think it's a good one. There were a lot of stamp sets in it that I liked, two of them are must haves. I also liked the designer paper (both the fall and the Christmas) A LOT. I even liked the hostess level 1 set. I'm looking forward to this one.

I know you and others are excited to see it ... but we're not allowed to share online yet.
Think of it like any of the other stamp company releases ... we have to wait for the release date.
In the meantime ... look at the new catalogue ... try out the new colours ...

FABRIC!!!?????????
Oh, I am in sooooo much trouble.....thinking of small quilts and matching cards for gifts....
but as previously mentioned, it's a short time frame between the mini and the holidays. This is the time of the year when I get holiday stuff done--I would love to have the mini a month (or two! or three!) earlier.

I'm hoping it's 44 pages of stamps and papers that are totally NOT my style! I spent tons on the big catty already, I don't need anything else! I have my Christmas set for the year, bought a Halloween, don't make Thanksgiving cards... I should be safe. I can't spend more money!

Me too...I always hope that....and then dang it if they don't make me LOVE it! This is the worst yet! The more I look at it the more I want it! I should be getting the real thing in the mail soon...that's going to be even WORSE

I haven't seen this question asked yet - the main catty had no Hanukkah stamp sets and word was there would "probably" be some in the mini.
I had customers lasy year that specifically ask me to make Hanukkah cards and I had to piece meal them together because I didn't have the right stamp set. I was planning on getting one this year and then POOF the new catty didn't have any.
For those that have seen the sneak peak - am I in luck - or am I going to be finding one someplace else?
TIA

Thank you!! If the mini doesn't have anything I'll probably end up ordering that one. Now for the wrinkle - I'm in Canada. Hopefully we'll have it available. We usually do, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed just the same.
