Well, there are a few people who sent me Christmas cards that I didn't have on my list to send a card to; so I will be making a few Happy New Year cards. We also have some birthdays coming up in January, including our daughter's, so I'll be making birthday cards too.

Valentine's Day cards are my focus now. All ready have the designs in my head. I just ordered a cute stamp set from Simon Says, bought a new Valentine's folder design by Cuttlebug at Mike's with a coupon, and have a bid on a retired SU Valentine's stamp set on eBay I've always loved. Tomorrow I'm re-ordering Real Red ink and paper from my SU demo. Got plenty of red and white glitter leftover from Christmas and I'll be using my Spellbinders Hearts Nestabilities. So I'm set to go once all the decorations are stored and the house is clean and looks normal again.

I'm going to get started on my Valentine's cards. I'm also going to make some "way to go", "great job", "You did it!" cards for people celebrating milestones at work. That should keep me busy for awhile.

I'm on the SU! Creative Crew here on SCS ... so I need to make some projects for that! (you'll see them in January!)
And SU! Leadership is coming ... so there are swaps to plan and make before I leave on Jan 9.
So ... mostly spring cards. Some Valentines ideas.

I'm not! I have been beading snowflake ornaments and need to clean that up and get back to cards.
I need to make my 2013 birthday calendar first, then do all January birthday cards now so I can start to get a little ahead.

Valentine cards, I'm getting some of the new SU Spring catalog items for those. Then Easter, etc. I also need to make up some sympathy cards to have on hand. I'm a few ahead for next Christmas too! I want to give more out to newer friends next year.
After Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's nice to take a breath again and let my creativity build up a bit.

Special January birthdays, a couple of New Year's. A couple of sympathy cards so I have them on hand when I need them, instead of having to stamp one in a rush...
And since I do the ongoing Christmas card challenge (CCC13 for next year) some Christmas cards.
And some thank you cards, of course!!

I'm working on some recipe-card-holding (cardstock) aprons - like a card, only in apron form. A co-worker wants me to make seven of them by January 10th, for her Tastefully Simple consultants.

I have so many Christmas pictures that I want to get into my scrapbooks and I already have a few pages made, so I need to get the pics on the pages. Then I'm on to making birthday cards for all my friends in my stamp club. I'm hoping that if I get them made in Jan. that I won't be concerned with it the rest of the year.... I'll just have to remember to actually mail them.

The last few days while visiting the nephews, I've been making Valentines so I don't get the Feb. 1 frantic text from SIL asking for them like last year (even though I had asked right after Christmas) I had to quickly put together kits so the two boys could make fifty Valentines and mail them from NY to NC.

Well, we're a little late sending out our Christmas cards, so I'm going to squeak out a few more, I had an inspiration, so I was playing a little today. Hopefully we'll get our cards out by Friday, and that's okay with us.

Well I'm hoping to teach a stamp-a-stack class in January. Hoping that the person who owns the meetup group I belong to will post my class for me.
hoping some of the sisters in my ward will be interested in attending.
So hopefully I hear back soon about the meetup group. Then I've got to place my CTMH order and plan out the class.
Also participating in the Christmas card challenge 2013 (CCC13) and All occasion card challenge 2013 (AOCC13)

I need to make some Birthday cards and I want to work on some Valentines. I got the SU Color Coach for Christmas so I want to mix and match some unique colors this year! Plus I have a goal to use my Cricut with my SU!

Well, once I get the makeshift bed out of my workspace, (Christmas company) I need to turn my attention to the bookkeeping files for 2012. Get them tidied up ready to move along. Once that is done, I hope to wander to my desk and look at the new ideas people are coming up with and perhaps gain some inspiration... at this point it doesn't matter what! I just need to get back to something.

Working on 'thank you' cards for both a swap and for my personal use. Also working on ATC swaps using new techniques for me: triple stamping and monoprinting on a gelatin plate. I'm finding it hard to stop once I get started on this monoprinting - it's like fingerpainting with a brayer and I want to print everything in sight LOL

I'm almost done with New Year's cards, then I'll move on to Valentines. I like to be about a month ahead. And I do like to make Christmas cards year round. And I've got to get ahead on birthday and sympathy cards. And I need to purge and reorganize again.

As far as cards go, I only make Christmas cards. So I'm either going to make a few more, here & there or get back into my scrapbooking. Haven't touched that in a while.

I'm thinking of making some Christmas cards for next year. I made a variety this year which was very fun. I could easily make more of the same to get a head start on next year.
After that I'm planning some monthly event w my fellow hobby demos. We outgrew monthly clubs but we miss being together. We usually do a shoebox swap and I provide refreshments and the location. We just didn't do enough of them so I'd like to get that going again.

Trying to finish up some more Christmas cards, and then on to Valentine's Day!! I tried to make a few Christmas cards throughout the year. My goal is one set of Christmas cards a month (usually about 6 of the same design).

Well first I have to unpack and organize my craft room. I finally moved to a home with a bedroom just for crafting. But so far it has all remained packed. It is killing me. My daughter and I are both off work till Jan. 5th. So unpacking and organization starts today.
Then let the fun begin ... Starting with Valentines , then party invites for my nieces 7th birthday. So very excited!!

Putting all this Christmas' photos into layouts - I'm determined to fill an album before I go back to work, otherwise the photos will sit neglected just like the last few years Christmas photos.

I joined the CCC again this year. I signed up last year, but just couldn't keep up. The year before though, I kept up and it was so worth it!! That's my goal this year, to keep up with the CCC challenge! I need to make over 100 Christmas cards, so the challenge really helps with that! I have a quite a few January Birthday cards to make too! I love Valentines cards, but I don't think I'll have time to make many of those this year. Just too busy working full time and sometimes bringing it home to do to. One day I'll retire, and then have plenty of time to craft away!!
