Default What's For Dinner?

Okay girls I need some help. I am planning a bridal shower with a kitchen theme. I have designed the invitations and I was planning to send 2 blank recipe cards to each guest. There will be a note explaining that we are putting together a recipe book for the bride as a group gift (in addition to the gifts everyone brings). I was going to make the recipe cards using the What's For Dinner? stamp set. However I did a few samples and I am very dissapointed with my results. I didn't worry though I just hopped on my favorte site and went to look up the stamp set. I just KNEW you would all have great ideas and be able to fix my little problem. Little did I know (or expect) but there are NO samples of this stamp set! Do any of you have ideas, samples or suggestions. PLEASE HELP!

Amelia,
The link is not active. I have had issue uploading pictures before too. Why don't you send it as a link in an email directly to me. I will PM you with my home email address.
Thanks,
Amy

There it is!! Thanks!
Did you have problems getting the border to stamp evenly? I keep getting missing spots and others that are over inked. I have never had this kind of problem before!

ahaley,
What a wonderful idea for a bridal shower! I have a friend that is getting married at the end of this year and this would be perfect since neither she nor the groom can cook! When they told me they were getting hitched I asked which one of them was going to learn how to cook?!

I have this set, but I haven't used it yet. I might try to get it out this weekend and give it a try. I'll let you know what I come up with.

I don't have my scanner hooked up right now - but I made some and all I did was use my blender pen and chalks to color and matted them on different colors - one for each category

I've had this problem with other stamps that I have used. I foud that if I used a brayer to apply the ink to the stamp, that I could get it to come out even. Might be worth a try.

I did but only because I was trying to stamp on a fold out table instead of something a little sturdier. Once I moved to the kitchen table it worked great for me.

Just to let you know I stamped it on a blank 4x6 (not sure on the measurements) index card
