I have been buying the panaromic size picture frames to make name frames. They are 11.99 at my Michaels so that makes them only 5.99!

Well if I had $150 I'd get the Cricut But other than that, not much. Our Michaels doesn't change their inventory enought for me LOL.

I bought my prisma colored pencils from Micheal's with my 40% off since 50% is a rare one to get.
I would also get a bag.like a stamping bag.I still have my eye on the crop and style paper stacker. But never have the money when the 50% coupon comes out to buy it.darn!
stazeon ink pads. I guess it really depends on what I need at the time.I have so much right now and I usually don't buy many single stamps because of the price of 1 alone.I'd rather spend that money on SU stamps and get a whole set.for the price of almost 1 stamp if you know what I mean.
But the $20.OO paper packs.is another thing to use it on .sometimes a magazine like a take ten .those are $15.00.

If the Wishblade wasn't on the wishlist I'd go for a Sizzix alpha, but as dh says, just because the coupon is there you don't have to use it. Personally I am still trying to decide.

Everyone's DH is going to hate me, but... I worked at Micheals until 2 months ago and they honor any craft store's coupons. That means that once a week you could get a 50% off item. LOL They don't advertize it and you may have to ask for the manager on duty to get it aproved. If you're buying a big ticket item, it's worth it.

Also the Joanns by me as well as the Beverly's by me all accept Michaels and each other. It is great. i usually get adhesive with it. My paper comes from CTMH usually but I do buy the card stock stacks each time they come out for $9.88.

I just bought some Pearl Ex with this week's 40% off coupon. I have several % off coupons for JoAnn's over Memorial Day weekend. The mailer I received has one 40% off coupon on one item and one 10% off on your whole order. Also got an e-mail with the same coupons. Think I'll spend the weekend at JoAnn's.

There is a 50% off coupon for Michaels good Sunday and Monday, Memorial Day weekend. I got it in the junk mail on Tuesday. Don't know if or on what I will be using it.

Definitely the cricut (sp?) machine. They're usually $300 so to get one at half price would be a steal. Someone posted a thread here in this forum that she just got one.

I have use the JoAnn's and Michaels coupons at Beverly's (no hassle) and the Beverly's at Michaels (with hassle).
Back to OP I don't know what to get this week either. I'm sure DH hopes I can't decide.

You won't be able to get the Cricut with the 50% off coupon in the M's flyer this week coming because it's "on sale" in the flyer" (at least, it is in the Canadian flyer and they are usually pretty similar)

I just used mine to buy the Slab 7 (David Walker). It's quite nice. There are some cardstock sheets and some diecuts and stickers in there too. With the 50% off I couldn't resist!

No 50% off on the Cricut, because it's already "on sale". But there is quite a difference. At Michael's it is advertised at $249.99 and at Jo Ann's it is $299.99. But I am thinking about a Xyron machine. I have never had or even used one! Can someone please give me some advice here? There is one at Michael's for $99.99- I think it is the "900" and so with 50% off, it might be a good thing to buy. I just hate to spend even that much money and then find out I should have gotten something different. There are other Xyrons on the Xyron web site, but the more expensive ones are only available through them directly, I think, according to the store locator. And on Michael's web site the 900 model was the most expensive one I could find. Anyway, what do you all know about Xyrons and do you think I should get one? TIA!!

Mel:
Just PM'd you (and didn't even wait to read your whole post as I wanted to let you know ASAP (forgetting the 3.5 hour time difference!) I've just read your whole post so I know your M's WILL let you get the discount at the checkout. RUN to M's!!! (I went again today as my mother - bless her - gave me the coupon she got in the paper yesterday)

In my Michaels ad the cricut machine is already on sale and Michaels won't let you use a coupon on a sale item. On the other hand, Joann's will mark the item back to the original price, then give you the percentage off whatever the coupon is. Joann's does take Michaels coupons for anything the sell in their store that Michael's also sells.

My Joann's wouldn't take the Michael's coupon for the Cricut. Their coupon actually says not good on Cricut. Too bad!
