Question what tree stamp has the most possibilities?

Ok, so many of you are hard-core stamp enthusiests and I have this tree card vision floating around inside my head... but no tree stamp to go with my wonderful idea. I love stamps and try to purchase those with a lot of options... can be used for more than one type of card. So I need a tree stamp... yep, I said need... and I was wondering if anyone would offer their suggestions as to which tree stamp they love most.

(I'm looking for an unpinetype tree... I think I made a word...)

Thanks so much,

Renee'

I'm probably not much help because I've never met a tree stamp I didn't like.

PM me with what you're looking for and maybe I can draw one for you .

CTMH has a set that has trees for all season's. I think something like that would be the most versatile.

I think it's a unicorn. Sought after but doesn't really exist. I have about ten tree sets, and countless individual trees. I keep thinking the next one will be IT for me. I just love tree stamps.

For years I thought Lovely as a Tree would do me. I finally got it, used it once and never picked it up again. Why is that? UGH!

I feel your pain, it's a tough one.

*I wanted to carry my unicorn reference into "now I have a barn full of horses but still no unicorn" but I'm not sure that really makes sense? Why would I buy a bunch of horses thinking they were unicorns? I mean a tree stamp could trick you, but I know the difference between a unicorn and a horse...*

It might not make sense--but it sure could be a great line in a country & western song. . . . .

OP, I'm another Lovely as a Tree fan, but pretty much all tree sets are good in my book.

"Stamps by Judith" has a tree stamp that you can decorate in many different ways for different occasions. It is more of a "fun tree" vs. realistic tree....

I am currently having a love affair with the tree from SU Thoughts and Prayers, and MFT Grow Love, Plant a Tree. Can't decide which one I like more, which could be along the lines of " a barn full of horses but no unicorn."

A Muse has a bare tree. From there you can add leaves, green for summer or autumn shades for fall. Or snow in the winter. Or buds in the spring. Or a harvest moon behind it for Halloween. Or a bird in the branches. Just ink the bottom for a stump. Or use the top for seaweed.

A bare tree can be adapted in many ways.

Look for versatility so you don't have to deal with how to organize a zillion tree stamps. Experience speaking here.

I'm a tree lover too, and in addition to the above suggestions, try Hero Arts as well. They have a good selection of realistic and fun trees.

I've heard that if you buy a "seed" stamp and plant it you can grow your own "tree" stamp in 3 to 5 years depending on the variety.

I've always loved SU's Lovely as a Tree. And for something more whimsical one of my all time favorites is Taylored Expressions

Branching Out Coordinates.

If you google Cornish Heritage Farms, and look through the Kim Hughes stamps, she has a lot of whimsical trees. Personally - lovely as tree is just not my think.

I think My Favorite Things - MFT stamps is coming out with a new tree set Wednesday night - May the 4th.

Are you looking for a whimiscal trees - or a realistic trees?

Default Realistic

Hmmm. I haven't googled that company yet. I'll do that in the morning... or later in the morning since I look now and it seems it is almost 5am here... got caught up making dh's b-day card... eeek...

I'm looking for more of a realistic tree, one without out leaves because I think it has more versitility. But I have looked at tons of stamps and just haven't found that "one" yet... I'll wait and see what MFT comes out with later this evening... Thanks for the reply. Great information.

I too, am a fan of SU's lovely as a tree but I also like Season of Friendship, also from SU. The first is realistic and the second is not. Season comes with a bird, flower, snowflake, and leaves stamps to embellish it any way you want. I have also seen people put things like brads and buttons on the branches too! It was in a mini and I didn't get it then wished I had once I found SCS but it came back into the big catty so I snagged it!!! Good luck whatever you choose....make sure you post your creations!!!!!!

THAT'S what has been happening in my stamp room! probably, i need to dust and those little seeds won't propagate by themselves.

These are amazing, but still not the tree I envision... I'm beginning to think I have to draw the sucker myself... If I do, I'm going to make a stamp... anyone have a clue how to make a stamp yourself... (and not the cricut way)...

What style tree stamp are you looking for? Realistic. Very simple? Swirly and flourished? Tall and thin? Leaves or no leaves? A large stamp or a small stamp? I have tons of tree stamps, I could possibly point you in the right direction. There are tons more out there.

Phanton, aka Nancy, has graciously drawn me a tree. I worked with it a bit last night and just need to tweek the size a bit for my layout. I've got a proto type done, but I want to polish it a bit before posting. Thanks for all the suggestions ladies. I have found myself tiptoeing through the trees lately... at every craft shop along the way... Thank you for all those suggestions, tips, and all out pushes for your favorite tree stamps. This community is so gracious with their input and I just wanted to spell it out for you all... I REALLY APPRECIATE IT! THANK YOU!!!!
