Question What is Missing ?!?!

I am holding my first workshop as a demo this weekend & this is one of the cards that we will be making (MAYBE !!)
Need you opinions as to what is missing from this card to make it look better.
It is hard to tell, but this whole card is on a white base that you can just see a little of.
Thanks for any advice !!

It is very pretty, but I think some gold cord tied along the fold would finish it.

I really like it!

I too think that one more "piece" of gold would help to pull it all together. A gold cord around the fold would be easy for any newbies at your workshop. Or maybe a tiny gold "do-daw" up in the left corner.

I agree with the Gold cording, but maybe wrap it around 2-3 times to add some visual weight. Cute card!

I agree, some gold cord or narrow gold ribbon would be perfect. It's a very pretty card!

Thanks for the suggestion.....will try that when I get home.

I should say that the reason I am not being quick to dump this is that my mom is attending the WS & she likes the quick easy cards, but complains about wasting paper.

The second torn green layer on this is actually the pieces I tore off from around the tree & just attached them to the edges of the red layer.

Cheap I know, but want to show that yes you can use every scrap of the paper.

Yes, it needs to be embillished! Cord or ribbon. Of course I cant make a card without ribbon...so I might not be the best to be giving advice! HA!

What about a brad or 2 for ornaments? Or is that taking it over the top?

I love the torn paper! Gold cord or ribbon would be great. Also, have you considered using vanilla as a base instead of white?

I was just going to say the same thing....I think either kraft or cream paper would look nice along with some gold cording.
