Default What kind of paper??

I'm just getting into the Spectrum markers and would love to know what kind of card stock everyone uses with these markers? I use the GP brand from Walmart and I don't think that I'm getting good results. Any suggestions?? TIA

I have used the Crafters Companion paper, especially made for use with alcohol markers.

You're right about the GP - I thought I was using the markers wrong, until I tried some different paper.

Hammermill Color Copy Digital Cover in 80lb was recommended by someone here, and it made all the difference in the world. When I used the GP, the colors bled outside the lines of my image, and didn't blend well at all. When I tried the Hammermill, it actually looked like I knew what I was doing

Here's a link to an ebay listing showing what the package looks like - the price on it is pretty good, too : LINK

I don't know if its available over there, but two recommendations over here are Neenah cardstock, and also Letraset make a 'bleedproof' paper pad for the markers.

I was at AC Moore a couple of weekends ago, and I found card stock made specifically for Spectrum Noir markers. It was just over $6, but I used a coupon and bought it for half price. I haven't had time to try it yet. I'm hoping it will help with coloring my digi stamps.

GinaK paper is great for Copics, I don't see why it won't work for Spectrum Noir markers.

I love the SU Whisper White for regular stamping. But it is not the best for alcohol markers (I have tried it with Spectrum Noirs). It is OK but no designed for that.

I agree with Cougar Super Smooth 80 lb or higher and Curious Metallic Cyrogen White 92 lb from cutcardstock.com

You can also get the Cougar from Marco's paper and the Cyrogen from Paper Temptress. I don't have Spectrum markers, but they ought to work just like Copics since they're alcohol based, and those are the best papers for Copics that I've found.
