Default What kind of ink pads do you use?

I want a dye based ink with good coverage. I have all the PTI cubes, and the full size pads in the new formula, but I think I'd rather have dye ink.

Big fan of SU's classic ink here. If most of your stamps are clear, though, avoid Ancient Page and Memories...I've never had good luck with them and clear stamps. I'm looking at Memento myself. M's had four packs of the dew drops on sale for 25% off this week and I almost caved. I'm interested in seeing other people's advice on this, too!

I love both SU's and memento, the latter is particularly excellent with clear stamps.

It's S/U classic ink for rubber and color box chalk ink for clear stamps for me.

Palette!

They are a great hybrid option so you can use them on paper, fabric and things like glass or acetate.

SU mainly, but I also have a lot of the pallette and distress ink pads as well, plus a handful of the vivid from Gina K.

well, for dye ink, I've got Vivid. I can't say I've used just them a lot recently, as I tend to go through "spurts" and use a certain type of ink for awhile. It really depends on the technique I'm doing, I guess. I do really like those Vivid colors (have the little pads and quite a few). Just a tip if you get them...they are so juicy that you don't need to store them upside down.

I like the Stampin' Up! Classic Inks they are dye based inks. I do an ink club, it is a very popular one. It is a great way to get all 48 regular ink pads at an affordable monthly cost. Let me know if you want any more info I have one starting this month! Plus one of the months you get some free goodies!!

Honestly my two favorites are Distress Inks and Memento. DI doesn't do as well with clear stamps in my experience, but it great for DTP and rubber. Memento seems to work really well with clear stamps (and rubber) but doesn't do as well for DTP or other techniques that I'd use DI for - like watercoloring.

I love the Memento line of inks - they work great on both rubber and clear stamps.

I love Memento, Vivid (The best for clear stamps. I just love it!!) And of course, I love my SU pads. I also like Stazon for certain applications.
