I started sewing back in September. I watch you tube videos and learn from them. I made several tote bags and gave them as Christmas gifts. They couldn't believe I actually made them! LOL

I’ve been wanting to get into mixed media or at least art journal pages. Not “journal” in the sense that I write down any personal feelings; but just a journal with paper that can take ink and maybe a little water. Just to create something with all these supplies and not worry about having to have a finished “suitable” card to give to anyone.

Making cards this year was a stressful event. Made lots of pretty trash, and didn’t really like what ended up in the mail anyway. I usually shift over to a knit or crochet project this time of year anyway. Since I do have a few birthday cards and thank you cards already in my stash I think my next paper crafting time will be spent just playing in some journal format.
