I have a jam packed full Art Room! Besides painting and drawing, I've done, knitting, cross stitch, soap making, fabric painting, flower arranging, beading, polymer clay, lots of crafts with kids, painting wooden things, sewing, quilting, sculpture. Hmm, I still need to learn to crochet!
I want to do it all!!!

I use to cook, clean house, bake, do laundry, work out side the home.............oh wait, I think that is my DH's fantasy I was thinking about!!
How many years back do I go?? I tired many things, mastered very few, had fun doing them all!

I think I can still remember, vaguely, having an unclutter, clean home before stamping.

Counted cross-stited, art, and graphic art. I also took lots of pictures but never did anything with them.

I love to cook and bake and would really enjoy something like this.

I didn't have a creative outlet prior to cardmaking/stamping. I never considered myself a crafty person at all. I did read a lot more prior to taking this hobby up though.

Scrapbooking. Before that I guess my main creative outlet was theater in high school. I started the scrapbooking in high school, so ... 15 years ago. Then I tried out card making and loved it. I do scrapbook some now, but my passion is the card making.

In the midterm I have also:
knitted
crochet
quilted
made a few basic skirts
sewn a mountain of handbags
taken art classes in hope of developing some actual skill (unsuccessful)
cross stitch

I scrapbook, and crochet. I do a lot of thread crochet still. And that's about it. Crochet, scrapbook and cards. I don't have time for anything else!

Before card making I did mostly counted cross stitch, which I still love, but have not done in quite awhile. Also knitting, crocheting, jewelry making, quilt making, you name it and I probably have done it. Started card making about 4 years ago, met new friends who did scrapbooking, so here I am making a scrapbook for my great grand-daughter. I make one a year. I love the creativity and all that goes with making cards. Six friends and myself meet once a month to do cards. Whose ever house the class is at is the teacher for the night. Great way to learn new techniques thanks mostly to Splitcoast! My husband says this is the longest I have stuck with one hobby. Hope to keep it up for a few more years.

I think I tried every hobby there is except X-stitching. All of the other crafts I did would eventually bore me. I started stamping in the "olden" days ~ 18 years ago when it was much simpler and the choices much fewer. It is one thing I never get bored with. My painting is with Copic blending now and I even teach stamping once a month. That keeps me sharp because most of my students take the same classes I do. Makes me stretch each month. I really never get bored with it and it's an ever changing craft.

Oh gosh... I started sewing as a teenager and made my own clothes.. Oh wait, I started crocheting as a little kid when my grandmother was trying to find something to keep me busy. And embroidery & counted cross stitch -that was big! Then I started decorative painting and did that for years! I did craft fairs and taught classes .. then I discovered scrapbooking. That yielded results faster than painting and I was hooked -- because I had always loved photography also. Then I had all these scraps of pretty paper, so it made sense to make cards out of them. Then I found stamps.. the rest is history...

My main interest is still cross stitch and needlepoint, I started those in the late 1970's. I've taught stitchery classes, work at a local stitchery shop and am active in my needlepoint guild.
I got into cards and such in early 2009 in part because I had a cataract and couldn't stitch very well until I had surgery in the fall of that year. Plus I was getting bored with store bought card choices.

I never did anything "crafty" before I discovered card making. I played golf and tennis and went to the gym.

This is a very good question!!

I was an occasional scrapbooker, but I wasn't very good or very prolific. To be honest I had my job (playing piano/singing/directing/teaching) and when I got home I watched TV or played on the computer and I didn't really have a hobby to speak of. I actually didn't think I was very artistic or creative (besides music) at all...

I am SO glad I found this hobby. I get so much joy from it.

As my name suggests, I'm a craft junkie so the list is LONG! Started sewing when I was 6yrs old and still do quite a bit of apparel & craft sewing and a good amount of quilting. Was taught to crochet very early & still do tons of that making hats, scarves, afghans and baby items - most recently baby cocoons. I love to do counted cross-stitch and embroidery. Used to do ceramics but not for a few years. Have started making jewelry recently & am very addicted to that. Good thing I work at a big-box craft store to support my "hobbies", huh?

I used to cross stitch all the time. Then it was hard to see the little squares. I said when my kids grew up I woulddo quilting. Well I took up paper crafting.
