Default What colors look good with copper?

HI. I am wanting to play with my new copper items, but am having a hard time choosing what colors to use with it. Can anyone give me some color suggestions? Thanks!

HI Sharon,

I was having the same problem . . . so far, I have used creamy caramel. Ohhhh, Pretty daring aren't I??? I will be interested to see what other people have come up with too!

Have you tried using pearl-ex on US vanilla and the mounting it on the copper CS? You could then try using copper cord as an accent?

I need to experiment more with copper ... Good luck!

I would think anything in the EE or RR families would be gorgeous. Some of the Bb too, like Real Red or Pink Passion . . . .

Mellow moss would be pretty, too, from SS. . .

I love copper with Night of Navy and Vanilla. Add some embossed vellum and oooh-lala!

I have a couple cards in the Gallery using the copper paper, and I used Tempt. Turquoise, Gable Green, Green Galore & Really Rust with it. Think of it, Copper is in the red color zone, so if you look opposite on the color wheel, you will see greens and blues. Maybe the right purple too. Also complimentary colors like orange and Summer Sun might go well. Different color combos will give you a different feeling, energetic, mellow, happy, etc. Just hold the copper up to your different colors, have an 'open eye' and mix colrs to come up with a combo you like!

I like the blues... Brocade Blue, Navy especially! Copper looks good with Real Red, Cameo Coral, Summer Sun...

OK, I actually like copper with everything

Black is always rich looking with copper. I'm doing a workshop with one card in black, with a copper piece put through the crimper. The stamp is stamped in VersaMark, and then blues, greens, and rusts in PerlEx.

Copper looks great with Rich Greens - try something like glorious green or forest foliage

Taken with Teal would be a good one too.

Blush blossom looks great with copper. Actually, I think most anything looks good with copper. I am so delighted they have brought it back. But try it with the blush blossom. It is wonderful with the peach from Sun Ripened.

I love using the copper with the confettie cream cs and any of the earth elements. I was so thrilled that they added copper to the catty.

here's just a quick rundown...
sorry to be short...

navy
burgundy
black (is to DIE for)
gray
close to cocoa and chocolate chip
ruby
coral (believe it or not...kind of modern, but cool)
forest
not quite navy
mustard

that should get you going...
