Just wondering if anyone is having as hard of a time finding some wood mounted sets at reasonable prices and what were they? Some of the ones listed below I have been looking for for over a year. Anyone else having trouble and if so which sets? Mine seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth or gone in price to the galaxy. Also, wondering if there was anything else you might have a hard time finding?
Musical Melody
Liberty for all
Ships Ahoy
Elegant Ice
Courage and Honor
I was looking for Hope for Comfort for the longest time and finally found it on ebay ata decent price. Hope the sets turn up soon for you and at a good price!
I've been looking for Classic Pickups for over a year now at a reasonable price. Just missed it for $10 on Craig's List. I know one of these days my "truck" will come in!

I'll look for you too and email you if I see it either ebay, splitcoast, or a fellow stamper. Pm a Ball park price you want to pay for it and I'll let you know.

Anyone else out there looking for stamp sets that seem to have fallen into a black hole? Love to hear where and how long you have been searching for? Misery loves company.
Oh, geez....lol, there are so many! I had Godspeed and then sold it (at book price) to a gal whose husband had just deployed. I was glad it went to somebody who had a good use for it (as opposed to just a collector), but boy I've missed it!
Wild Wild West is another...I miss those finely drawn sets that SU used to be known for! That one goes for so high, though, that it's pointless to consider. $200 and up? No way...
I had the old Wildlife set and then sold it when I took a hiatus from stamping. Doofus, doofus, DOOFUS!! That's another one that's hard to come by.
I think you've just talked me into getting one last set from the Last Chance List, lol! I've been dithering about it all month...should I? Shouldn't I? Well, I've just decided I don't need to add another set to my regret list, lol!
I thought No Place Like Gnome was silly when it was available. Now my stamp style has become more "quirky and humorous" and I can't find that set for a decent price to save my life!
I have been looking for 4 years for 2 TAC sets.
Skateboard and Motocross.
I know someone somewhere out there has them. I have watched Ebay, posted in B/S/T
several times and watch craigs lists but nothing yet. I would pay well for these 2 sets as these are the 2 things my boys are into.
For SU - HOPE and FOR THE LOVE OF CHOCOLATE and SILENT NIGHT
I have seen these but I could not pay the prices they were going for.
Keep looking. I finally found Musical Melody, Wide Open Spaces, and Liberty for all. Anyone else looking for others that have fallen into a black hole.
I really, really, want 'Inspired by Nature' and I found one on ebay for $12 buy it now and I decided....nah I don't really want it do I? Then I changed my mind and I went back about 5 minutes later to buy it and of course it was gone. I could kick myslef for letting that one go!!!
Does anyone know if 'Inspired by Nature' is still on the dormat list? Or is it in the catalog? Is it retired?

I wanted a stamp of a very modern, young woman...a trendy, young woman to make a card for my daughter. I looked and looked and the only company I found one with is Inky Antics. They have some really great stamps. I also found one that says...Ready for some Retail Therapy. I want that too.
I am searching for the Tim Holtz blending foam tool and refills since I saw a YOU TUBE video and cannot locate one.
Also, would like to purchase some foam stylus heads for the plastic handles-I think the brand name is Color Bot(x).
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!
Check out scrapbook.com cause that's where I found mine and also the pre-cut foam pads that attach to the applicator. My sister had a time finding the disress ink applicator locally, but she did find the alcohol ink applicator at Michael's so she bought it and made it work with the foam pads. You can also check to see if they have the foam stylus heads as well.
Hope this helps!

Stampscapes carries the Colorbox handles and tips. I buy a lot of refills for them becuase I like to have tips for each color groupsing (reds, blues, green, etc).
I made my own foam blending tool like Tim's by gluding a piece of velcro to a small stamp wood mount (I have lots of wood because I'm unmounting my stamps). I buy the flat-round makeup sponges at the dollar store and cut them down to fit my wood mount. It works just fine and it's a cheap solution.

Oh, thanks for the tip. Someone gave me some old rubber wood mounted stamps and when I say old, I mean it. How hard is it to unmount them? It would save me tons of time having more of the ink applicators to use with the foam pads instead of changing the foam everytime I change ink colors. I bought 2 packs of the pre-cut foam, so just need more applicators right now. Do you have Tim's non-stick mat? Was wondering if a silicone baking mat would work just as well.

Easy to unmount - just peel the stamp off. If you need to loosen it, put the stamp in the microwave for a few seconds and it loosens the glue. I agree on saving you time that is why I have the tips in so many colors. I also have several handles so I don't have to switch the tips during a project.
Love the mat but it's great for when I use UTEE or my glue gun. I would think that a silicone mat would probably work as well. I also think that tin foil would probably work for how I use the mat. It's worth a try before you go out and buy the mat.
I bought Tim's centering metal edge ruler. I love the metal edge but the lines on the ruler are too wide.

O.K., will try the microwave if the rubber doesn't peel off the wood easily. To be honest, I have almost thrown them away several times but a little voice inside my head kept saying "NO!"...LOL, and now I know why. I have several of the silicone mats that I use for baking, but I received another one last Christmas in a baking gift basket and it's never been opened so will give it a try. Would rather save my crafting $$ on other things if I can. Thanks again for your help! :-D

Don't give up hope ladies. Have your list and if I see it, I'll try to get in touch. Got everything now except Calm Seas and Courage & Honor. The latter is coming down in price on ebay since the new catalog came out. So I'll keep looking. Prefer to buy from splitcoast though. Anyone sees it please PM that person and tell them I'm looking for it. Don't believe anyone looks at ISO. Also, PM me if you please. Really need Calm Seas to make a card for a special lady. Can't ask anyone to stamp me a print because of how I want to do the card. She's facing possible cancer and is really down.

I want Coast to Coast. It is too pricey on ebay. When I had a LSS store they had Garage sales and people could bring their used stuff to sell. One lady brought in every SU set she had, she used to be a demo, and she priced them all at $3.00 each. One mother and daughter team were there with their lists and stood in front of the SU stuff and took 75% of it. When I had a chance I asked them for the Coast to Coast set as I had been looking for it and blah blah blah.. but they would not budge.
