WEDDING INVITATIONS?

Has anyone designed their own wedding invitations? My son recently became engaged and his fiancee and I would like to work together to make their invitations. We would welcome any suggestions or examples. Thanks!

Hi Stamping Sue.

If you go to the gallery and type in wedding in the search you will get about 58 pages. Some are cards and some are invites.

I am doing 170 for my daughter friend right now and I also designed my own.
For Mels the front is velum overlay. On the velum I have stamped and embossed the guy and girl on the beach from Summer by the sea.
On the front of the card under the velum is printed from my computer
"I'll vow to love you as long as the rivers run to the sea." They are getting married on a riverboat. Inside is the invite. all writing and embossing is being done in gold as that is her colors.
I'd post one, but have not figured that all out yet.
