Default Watercoloring/Shading Tutorials

I would like to find the best coloring tutorials to step up my coloring skills. I would love to buy Copics, but at this point, I need to use what I have. KWIM?
Watercolor crayons, water-based markers, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, etc. Maybe I can start purchasing Copics in twos or threes to begin a collection, but so pricey...ouch.

Anyhew, any great blog links. Checked out the resources here. Very helpful, but I would like more advice.

There are lots of tutorials out there. Here are a few on watercolor techniques. It's interesting to compare the different approaches to applying the colors.

Here is a great blog I just discovered by a gal who works for Copic Markers as a product specialist.

There are lots and lots of good tips and techniques for coloring with markers here:

This is THE BEST tutorial I've seen in a long time, and the title cracks me up

No Copics? No problem!

Julie is a fantastic stamper/blogger/designer. She constantly shows us the how-to's in this crazy craft! HTH

Default watercoloring

I am a member of Technique Junkies- and Pat huntoon who publishes the newsletter has 3 sample tutorials (FREE) on the home page that are watercoloring tutorials- they are just like the online tutorials you get if you subscribe to the newsletter. I found them to be very helpful for watercoloring.

www.patstamps.com

Hope this helps!
