I love to see other people's stamping spaces, so I created a video of my "Rubber Room" and shared it on YouTube. I'd love to share it with you. Check it out here if you'd like. I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have, or show you more... just shout out!
Very nice and thanks for sharing. I have debated on using my unused 2000 square foot basement but I am not sure I would like going there. Does it bother you to be in the basement? I am currently using a spare bedroom upstairs.

I had a space in the basement before when it was un-finished and honestly I didn't like it, so I moved upstairs to my son's room while he shared with my older son. When he wanted his room back, I was forced to take action. Now that the basement is finished, I LOVE it! The boys have the other half of the basement so they are down here with me when they are home, so I don't feel "left out". Plus, all of a sudden, I seem to suddenly have more friends who like to hang out here

ok good to know.........Our basement is finished but in need of a remodel. I have issues with all the things I store down there that would zap my energy. I don't have little ones who would be down there with me. I would be all alone and not sure how I feel about that. For now it will be the spare room I guess. I can see that it would be fun to have friends hang out down there. I know I would be knocking at your door!

My hubby nicknamed my stamping room "The Dungeon" years ago.....It is a teeny bit weird really, because we don't have basements here in Australia, so my room is actually just another room in the house.
I love your rubber room! It is just what I would wish for!

I have my craftroom in the finished part of the basement and love it at times. (Especially when I need to get away from the guys - all three of them dh two sones). Sometimes I feel lonely but it is just so quite down here.
SURE! When in Central New York... look me up:cool:
You might wish you didn't take me up on that. I'm from NY, Finger Lakes region, and my son still lives there, so I'm back at least 5-6x a year. PM me so maybe we can plan something.

I miss our basement in Minnesota and Missouri. Since moving to Oklahoma, we don't have any...soil is red dirt and too soft. Otherwise I have my room upstairs in the bonus room. Yours looks awesome!

Your room is great, love the separate work area.
I have been working on organizing my Creative Chaos room. I have several pictures taken of the process but am afraid to post them. It is kind of scary but it is getting to a place that I am liking.
I have had a blog for a few years and have only posted to it a couple times because I can't figure it out. If I could, I would post pictures of my Chaos there.

p.s. love the name creative chaos
lol, that is because my blog is so pathetic and neglected that I keep it hidden.
I am working on a sign to put over the door leading into my space that says "Creative Chaos", I want it to reflect all the things I love to create so the sign in itself is a big work in progress.
Wow, what a great room! I love how you have your stamping area, storage, classroom all in different areas. I love the display as you come in and the refreshment center! Just how big is that space?
In the next year or two, we are going to build a home and I want a super cool rubber room like yours (well, maybe a mini verison or yours)!
Have fun building your home - what a fun thing! Thanks for the nice things you said about my rubber room. The refreshment center is on a drafting table that my FIL gave me - it measures 43 wide x 30 deep.
Or were you referring to the rubber room as a whole? It's half of my basement and measures about 20 feet wide by 15 foot long.

Thanks for the room size. I can tell you have put a lot of thought in to everything in your room. You have it so organized...I bet your customers just love coming to your house to stamp. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring.
