Default Using Charms on cards and....

Last night at Wal-Mart I found some cute little charms that are just calling my name do do something with. In the wedding section (not sure all WMs have this section but we do) I found a packet of 50 silver heart charms that say LOVE on them. I also found a packet of 50 square silver charms that say THANK YOU. They have little jump rings on them so they would be easy to attach. They were $1.96 each!

Now, I just have to figure out what to do with them! Does anyone have any great samples or ideas for using charms on cards or anything else?

It's off to Wal Mart I go!!! The hearts will be perfect for Valentine's Day. Thanks for the heads-up!

I think its cute to hang a charm from a bow or a knot. Adds something extra. It could be done on a card, or scrap page, well anything really

I have attached them by tying them on with ribbon or hemp.

I was at a craft show and a lady was selling cards that were so simple but pretty. She used 2 coordinating DP (one on top half, one on bottom half), had a ribbon across the middle seam where the paper met and had a charm hanging from the ribbon. She used the same charm but different papers and sold them in sets of 4. She sold a lot of them!

Hope this helps!

Last year for Valentine's at a workshop we made a vintage looking card with a distressed background and a large vintage style heart. We used mini glue dots to attach some cute brass charms in the center of the heart -- tiny heart locket with tiny key.
