Default UPS and Stampingbella

I am SO stinkin BUMMED OUT (mild description)....

I have been patiently waiting for my Bella stamps to arrive that I ordered the day they came out... well, according to UPS they were delivered on Friday the 13th... NO THEY WERE NOT!!!!! :mad: I was outside from 9AM until 9PM prepping for my yard sale I had on the 14th.... they say they left them on the porch at 3:41...well, they NEVER leave things on my porch cuz I have dogs, NICE dogs but I guess UPS drivers dont take that chance which I get... but they usually ditch my packages into the bushes and leave me a voicemail on my cell phone, NONE of this was done... of course it would be easier to walk in the front door of the White House vs getting ahold of UPS...

I emailed Emily but with a tracking that shows delivered I am SOL on these babies I'm afraid. The last order took 4 weeks to get to me due to "natural disaster" (according to UPS Tracking)??? WHAT??? UGH!!!! This one is NEVER going to arrive....

OK, I guess I'm done sniveling and will just not be able to order from Bella anymore as that was $62.82 that I worked hard for just to flush it down the UPS toilet!!!!! :(

I can't understand how UPS wouldn't be liable for delivering a package to a front porch...when it is lost or stolen. Hopefully you'll get them to reimburse you for the loss.

Keep bugging UPS, leave voicemails, send emails, leaving a package on the porch is NOT proof of delivery. If there is no signature for the package, they have no proof it was delivered at all. It's the driver's word and yours. Their packages are insured and someone should get reimbursed for a missing package.

Ask Stampingbella to start an investigation with UPS.
We do this at my work and a lot of the time UPS PAYS to have the pkg replaced.

I personally do not order from companies that will not back up a lost delivery. That is why I do not order from another stamp company.

I hope they still show up for you.

My friend at work refuses to buy anything if it has to be shipped via UPS, he has had some big issues with them.

Keep pushing the issue. And ask the company what address they shipped it to. My sister was expecting a diamond bracelet from Tiffany's and it showed as being delivered. The company had transposed the numbers in the address so it was delivered to an empty house. Still don't know where it ended up, but they sent her a new one. Good luck.

Keep following up with UPS. They will follow thru....they should be able to locate unless someone took your package if it was delivered. I know they have information with the spawn loaders and such...
WE do not order from people that will not SHIP UPS...because we do have a paper trail.

My friend ended up on their bad list after one too many complaints. He was never getting his packages. I personally have no issue with UPS or the USPS.

Ok, kind of bizarre question, but do you have a grill on your porch? Where I used to work, people would call about packages that said they were delivered but weren't, and apparently UPS discovered that putting them in the gas grill kept them hidden from marauding neighbors and dogs. We had one gentleman that called a month after receiving a replacement shipment who found his original - didn't do a lot of cooking out

I am betting they took it to the wrong house. IF your street is on a grid of square streets I have even heard of them going to the right house number but one street over accidentally. I used to get my neighbors stuff all the time at my 31101 address. Next door was 30110.

Push for an investigation!

When we were living at Hickam AFB Hawaii, my hubby had to send a watch to CA for repairs. The watch company sent it back to us UPS. Hubby inquiried after not reciving the watch back. UPS had info on a del date and time. Watch company had an "investigation" Have not idea who received hubby's watch but hubby ended up receiving a brand new one. Who ever received the watch and did not notify UPS of the wrong delivery, well I hope the watch broke on them, serves them right!;)

Bummer KJ!! How frustrating!! I say you pester them until they get your package replaced or your $$ refunded. They get so careless because they know most of the time, people won't fight them, but this is stamping $$!!! In my book, that means war!!

I hope you get some resolution! :(

Did you file a claim with UPS? If you go to their website they have the option to fill out a claim form. Either the shipper or receiver can do it.

I had a package noted as 'Delivered' but to what address I don't know - not mine. I contacted UPS and the company and between the 2 of them, I did get my order. A UPS person came to my house several days in a row just to check that the address they had for the package was correct - didn't care, just wanted what I ordered.

I had ordered a 12" Tonic guilloutine paper cutter so that box was not tiny. I always request on an order that any package be placed on my front porch under the window and out of full view from the street. I live on a busy street with lots of foot traffic and the delivery people always do this but don't know what happened on this particular order.

Keep pestering the company you ordered from because if they don't get you the products you ordered, you will not order from them, will tell your friends about their bad customer service and also, post your negative experience on this site. I would think in the cost of the shipping there should be insurance so the company needs to 'make good' on an order.

I agree with this. Keep pestering Stamping Bella. They should file a lost package report with UPS at the very least. You would hope that if it wasn't rectified that Bella would either reimburse you your money or resend the product. But don't hold your breath. They are not the best with customer service. :rolleyes:

Sometimes there is no good explaination. One year, a Christmas gift was being sent direct from a store merchant and it got delieverd in another part of town. No similarities in address either. The person who got my package was very nice to call me and I offered to pick it up from her. All UPS packages require phone numbers by the way. The address on the label was the correct one, so it was simply an error that my package got left at another address. I was so thankful that the receiver was such a thoughtful person. I hope you get some good luck like that.

I agree, keep on calling and going after UPS. They be able to show where they delivered it. You may also be able to check with all your neighbors and just say UPS says they delievered to you accidently and see if any of them turn up with your package. I know I have gotten packages at one point or other for almost every neighbor including people a whole street off!!

Also, you may check other websites that sell Stamping Bella (addicted to Rubber Stamps comes to mind) and just get your bella stamps there.

Sorry that you didn't get your stamps though! I know that must be sad. Hope you are able to get some relief! If you used your credit card OR Paypal, you can also go that route to get some relief. I know I have done that in the past too.

I would check with your neighbors to see if one of them got it and just hasn't called to let you know yet. That has happened to me a couple of times. UPS has delivered to the nieghbor's house and left it on their front porch. The neighbors only ever use the back porch so they didn't know a package was there until we went looking for it.

I just had this happen to me. UPS said they delivered my demo kit for CTMH but they did not. So, I called CTMH and they took care of it. Bella will need to wait 8 days to make sure it doesn't show up then they will be able to file the claim and should send you a new package. I am not sure what UPS will bother to do but Stamping Bella should be able to step in on your behalf. This is not money you should be out. Oh, by the way, my CTMH package showed up 7 days later on my front porch sometime between when we left the house at 6:30 in the evening and returned at 9:30 that same night. Odd... Good luck and don't give up. This is your hard earned money and you deserve to either get your goods or be refunded your money. Let us know what happens!

OMGOSH!!!! Look at all this support.... I am SO happy you are all behind me, but perhaps while there, KICK ME IN THE HINEY!!!!!! :oops:

I placed my order, THRILLED to get new goodies, and apparently the last order when I updated my address it didn't change in the system, I didn't pay attention and it went to my OLD HOUSE!!!! :shock:

I got a phone number from C_S which I called the digitial talking girl told me it was delivered 3:41 PM on Friday August 13, 2010 to 110 Alder Ridge Rd AAAACK!!!!!! I yelled for DS to make a road trip (15 minutes) to the old house and GET MY STAMPS!!!! LOL He did and the new owners had my package.... I feellike SUCH an idiot!!!!!

Thanks for ALL the support, already emailed Emily to let her know I'm a dork!!!! :rolleyes:

I'm sure you've done this already, but check inside your garage if you have one or backyard. I also had a shipment showing delivered and the driver had put it on top of my riding lawnmower!!!! He has also set deliveries next to my garage door. What if I were in for the night and ran over it backing out the next morning???? Hope it shows up soon.
