Default Unmounting question

I have unmounted most of my SU stamps and used the cling stuff. I thought I read a thread where it said you don't have to use that, that you can stamp by just adhearing with the red sticky tape.

Anyone know if this works? If so do I take of the foam? If this doesn't work where is the best place to get the foam mount stuff?

Sorry for so many questions

You can use the red sticky tape or plain old double-sided tape. I use Eileen's Tack it over and over. It's like a glue that you spread on and let dry. I like this as it makes the stamps themselves sticky and I can just stick them onto the DVD or CD case.
You don't need the foam. I use it as It's already part of the stamp but in unmounting, some of the foam was old and peeled right off the rubber. You don't need the foam and also don't need to peel it off. Hope this helps.

I'm thinking the red liner tape would be a little toooo sticky for this. If I use tape, I prefer Scotch removable poster tape. In a pinch, I've used just regular Scotch double-stick tape, but that leaves a residue on my blocks. The poster tape doesn't.
