Question Unmounting mounted SU stamps?

I was just reading the thread about separating all the individual sentiments from So Many Sayings and mounting them individually. Well, I'd LOVE to have them all separated, but I mounted them a while ago . Soooo, how do I unmount them? and then what would I need to do to re-mount them onto some other block? Anyone have any suggestions or advice on this? I am totally clueless and don't know where else to find out.

Thanks!

You can heat the stamp in the microwave for a few SECONDS at a time. When the rubber peels away easily, you can pull it off. Decide whether or not to keep the foam. It'll probably be easier to cut the rubber at the point if the take it off the sticky foam...yech!

I guess I would just use them without any foam...just mount them on an acrylic block to use. With such small images, foam can actually work against you and make the stamp wobble. There should be enough stickyness left to let it stick on the block. When it losses that, you can just use a piece of double-sided tape on your block to hold the stamp in place.

If you do want to mount the stamps after you've cut (permanently, I mean) you can use the edge side of dominoes, use a square dowel cut down into 1" lengths, use Jenga game pieces, whatever.
