Default Unmounted rubber sticking problem/question

I have several unmounted red rubberstamps. Some are my newer SU! purchases that I'm choosing to no longer mount on wood or I picked them up at stamp shows and they are just plain rubber.

I've read posts here about EZMount and may ultimately go that route. But I need a right now solution if you KWIM.

I have acrylic blocks and double sided tape. The red rubber falls off when I stamp. I tried poster tape and that did help a bit - but then it gets stuck on the acrylic block and isn''t sticky the next time (well , duh LOL) and I don't want to keep layering the poster tape ontop of the poster tape.

I am moving my sb space to an extra bedroom/office this fall (lots of clean up of the new space) and once thats done and settled I may unmount my many many SU!. But till I undertake that I want to be able to use what I have now. TIA

Andrea

tsuineiko (sp?) tack n peel on an acrylic block works great. I think I found the last one I bought at Joann's online. The rubber will not fall off!

I use Tack 'n Peel too and I love it. I have also seen it online at Barnes & Noble.

If it gets dirty (mine had ink, cat hair and glitter on it!), you can wash it in soap and water, and let it air dry, and it's back to being perfectly tacky again!

I have T'nPeel on a selection of block sizes -- and the one package was plenty enough.

(also, if you buy SU stamps and like to have the cushion, you can leave the backing paper on and use them with Tack'nPeel, too!)

If you have naked rubber, Tack 'n Peel is what you're looking for. Your LSS may also have it.

I do have an extra package which I won't need. If you're interested in it, let me know. It would be $9.70 plus $1 shipping (total $10.70).HERE is where you can look at what Tack 'n Peel is. It's a clear, very sticky surface you apply to your stamping block; you then stick your stamp to that. If too much lint, hair, fibers get stuck to it, you just wash it with soap and water, let it dry, and it's sticky again.

I may be a bit late for this but I saw this post and thought I'd put in my 2 cents lol I use Aleene's Tack It Over & Over adhesive for my unmounted red rubber stamps and I love it!
