I have found..ahem....(taken out of the neighbor's garbage...) 2 stamp shelves that she got from a dumpster after a remodel of a Michaels!!! She tried to sell them to me for $50 each...I ALMOST caved...2 years later, she was moving, and THREW them in her garbage! SCORE! LOL!

I found a 4" table that I use for my stampin' table at a garage sale for $1!

My Heat Tool holder is actually a "scrappin' drink and trash bag" holder that I bought at a Goodwill for 29 cents! No one knew what it was! LOL!

I got a BRAND NEW Crop N' Style XXL for $2.99 at a Goodwill.

That's about it...Oh...and I found VINTAGE (circa 1970) orange juice glasses that looked like votive holders, still in the box for $.59 at Goodwill...I got them home, and there was candle wax in them! LOL! Totally what I was going to use them for...AFTER I altered them!

[QUOTE=stampwithjoanne;12146291]Totally agreed! I can't remember the last time I paid full price!------
FOR ANYTHING.

It practically gives me hives to think about paying full price. Thankfully my daughters are picking up on how great it is to find bargains, and love Goodwill as well. They've even decided that they'd rather have Target and Goodwill gift cards/certificates for Christmas because they know they'll get a lot for their money in the after-Christmas sales.

You probably will some day simply because you've voiced your want/need to the Universe. Good luck! I've certainly heard of stranger things happening!

How exciting for you!!! I agree with you too. God uses subtle little ways to encourage us in certain directions sometimes I believe.

My great find was on our local Craig's List. This woman was selling a whole box of wooden and foam stamps for $30.00!! I got the WHOLE box including some ink pads. I got online and priced a couple of the stamps and couldn't BELIEVE how much they cost originally.

I mostly go there to get envelopes. They always have loose cards and envies there. Last time I went, I picked up a pack of different sized envies. At the register the clerk told me I could have them for free because what good were they without the cards. She is obviously not a card maker. I gave her 50 anyway. Well worth it.

My friend and I call it going Goodwill Hunting! Last week I found a Hanna Anderson sweater that looked brand new for my 6 year old daughter for $2!

I did find two NUM SU sets at a flea market for $1.00 apiece. I thought I would have a stroke when the guy with no teeth selling them said "I'll take a buck for each". Calmly I asked if he had any more and I thought my heart was going to leap right out of my chest! LOL!
