Default Which of these florals do you use most & why?

I'm having a party in October (I'm not a demo) & want to pick one floral set. Would you pick: Watercolor Garden, Watercolor Garden 2, or In Full Bloom----and why?

THanks!

In full bloom cause I love to color stuff in. Just take a look at the gallery for each of those sets, Wow! Tough choice.

I would definitely choose WG II - for the opposite reason listed above - I don't like to color in. I tend to choose stamps that don't need coloring. I do like the samples for IFB, however, will most likely not get it because of the coloring.

I agree tough choice. I have all of the WG ones and use them a good bit.

Have fun at your workshop and enjoy picking out your freebies!!

Good choices ;o) Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions... One of the first sets got was WCG 1. I love it and use it all the time. But I recently got IFB and love it as well. I did a demo tonight w/ IFB, because I was watercoloring w/ the pencils and blender pens. It depends on my mood. If I want to watercolor I use IFB. If I want something quick it's Watercolor Garden. I like 1 better than 2. I would look and see what you have in way of stamp pads also. If you have just a few colors of stamp pads I'd probably go w/ IFB because you have more versatility... You can color that with whaterver you have... Hope that helps, probably made things more difficult ;o)

Boy, that's a tough choice! I don't think you'll go wrong with either one.
Right now I'm using IFB a lot, because it's one of my newer sets, but I loved WCG II just as much when I first got it. It's still a "go to" set when I need something quick and pretty!

I have both IFB and WC Garden I. If I could have only one, it would be WC Garden I. It is SO versatile - quicker to use because you don't have to color it, it has a great sentiment also, and I just personally like it better than WC Garden 2. Also, I made a card with WCGI that I saw in a magazine - it's an underwater scene with fish, plants, and a couple little crabs on the bottom of the ocean. All using WCGI!!!

Check out the galleries here and see which cards appeal most to you.

Having said that, I LOVE IFB and am enjoying it a lot. And I probably will end up getting WCG2 eventually too!

I guess In Full Bloom cause I don't have either of the WCG sets. I LOVE Spring Garden, however. I brought it down for my sister to use last spring and she absolutely loved it after that and had never been that into it before.

I would vote IFB because I love to watercolor. I have been amazed at the results I have had from this set!

This is tough - why not do both! This way the people can see two techniques - but then they might have to make a choice which to buy?!?!
I like IFB to use watercolors - the new Aquapainter (I actually have a set!) and has a bee (am a beekeeper). Just made a micobead pen with this set which turned out nice. Also - selling point - has matching Hostess gift in the $150 cateory. I love WCG and have used it incessantly - as I love daisies. Is easy to emboss a simple card and get big wows - makes a lovely sympathy card. Actually made 2 swaps for last convention with this set.

I have this fear of two step stampin so I like IFB best! I need to get a stamp a ma jig, I think! I have avoided the 2 step sets for years. But I have never seen one used, so I think if I get one, you'll be seeing a post from me asking questions !

I'm so with Emily, I also, dont have either WCG so would have to say IFB, its fun, if you don't mind coloring in, it really doesn't take that long.
Spring Garden is a great 2 step set, very pretty.

If the class is for newbies I would use WCII. That way they get instant satisfaction. I have found that I can get my friends interested easier if they think that stamping will be easy and won't take much time. Coloring while easy still takes a little longer and I have found that newbies will be less likely to want to get started if it is not simple.
If your class is seasoned stampers then it is IFB all the way. I love this set!

I am not a demo, just an obsessed customer that has shows every couple of months. This is just what I have found with my groups.

I don't have either of the WCG sets, and although I have used them in workshops before, neither gave me such a thrill to have to have it. I do have IFB and absolutely love it. It lends itself to all color schemes, watercoloring and chalking. I esp. like it on the earth tones with pastels. very sharp, and elegant.

WGII, because I don't like to color in either. But my heart is getting won over to Full Bloom, I've seen so many awesome samples of it. And they just chalked it so it wouldn't take that much time to color. I have WGII and use it alot!!

Thanks for all the replies! My wish list is SO long! The demonstrator will be using Hope Is and I"m not sure what else, but I'm trying to decide for myself which to get. My "stamping buddy" (who is about as broke as I am) and I try to get sets we can "share" til we can build up our collections. She has Spring Garden & Terrific tulips. I have Watercolor Minis. Hmmmm, it sounds like the biggest decision is do I want to color them in or not. I love to watercolor, but timewise, love the ease of 2 step stamps!

Not that I"m obsessing about this....my show is October 23.....it's not the only thing on my mind....really.....(okay, it IS, but don't tell!).

Thanks!

I know the feeling! When I place an order, I obsess about it for weeks before I'm actually going to place the order! It's all I think about and then con't to think about it non-stop until the order arrives on my doorstep!!!!!!

Oh, Heather!
You have to get a stamp positioner! It took me awhile to feel comfortable with it, but now I don't think I could stamp without it.
We got together at my demonstrator's house for a little stamping last night, and the other girls had never used one. After I showed them how, they are converts and can't wait to get their own!
